raj, 12 Feb 2014I purchase xperia m duel , day before yesterday and put a l... moreprees the start button u will see some screens whcih includes camera and type of keyboards for selection in the u select the standard keyboard and give the password, on your allows yu to login, change you security lock to pattern, from passwrd locking mode.....
if you set securoty lock ad password, nothng is gonna visble.... guess ur facing the same. the above is solution for you..goodluck

Xperia m Is a cool Phone. But one of my friends handset gets heated up if used continuously for 20 mins Either it may be games/Skype/Net browsing/ phone call whatever kindly let me know whether it is common in all the phones

just for some info....i have got xperia m....there are many reported issues on restarts and bugs...i think this may be due to the 80mb update that came on the phone(indian version)....coz i have not updated the software and is working fine but my frnd got it updated and he is facing restarts and network issues...so what we did was that manually downgraded to the stock version that came out of the box and his phone is working fine now...

THE BEST SMARTPHONE (overall) U CAN GET FOR THE MONEY U PAID.
Pros: powerfull cpu, gpu, enuf ram, design, notification lights, nfc, screen mirroring, stamina mode. Smooth 1080p/720p HQ video playback any format.(mx player).
Cons: small internal memory for apps n games(u can root nd swipe storage to overcome the problem though)
But its okay for a standard user.
Galaxy core has more internal memory but has crappy old cpu n gpu.(cortex a5 dual) but xperia m's performance is equivalent to quad core cortex a5 nd the gpu is far better.
I am not being a fanboy or anything, Samsung does make some good phones but not on this price point.
Xperia l is another choice at this price point with some benefits n compromise.
This cost 17k BDT ~ 210$.L same.
S.g core about ~ 250$.
Using S.X.M for about a month.

yo, 11 Feb 2014can anyone say which is best core or xperia M...Xperia m all the way. Its hardware is really great(the cpu n gpu).and awesome battery backup. The only advantage s.g core have is internal memory. But its also priced higher than m.
Ur choice.

Vodafone said Android 4.3 JB update for Xperia M was scheduled. So, I hope it is true and will release soon! But I don't think Xperia M will receive 4.4 KK because there's no chance for XM! Sony just update the Z series! (-,-" )
