1. Try to turn off light sensor and set only a standard level of brightness.
2. Do not use proximity sensor off screen, or apps that are using it, other than phonecall.
3. Exit yourself apps.
4. Use fast reboot from 3 to 3 hours set.
5. Use only solid color or non-animated wallpaper image...and noise suppresion deactivated.
6. Airplane mode at night.
7. Best of all: no full time internet data connection, but only from time to time, to upgrade data in the phone.

Hi dudes, really I hav a poor battery backup on my Xperia m so that I installed batterysaver also but no improvement. If I use what's app constantly for 2hrs my battery was getting down to 40 percent.frnds pls suggest wat I need to do to improve by battery performance?????

With a little add: that upgrading U to ICS is a big mistake, M's battery is much better than U's, and also lowlight shots by third camera apps are in some way better. Also, XU has a very noisy camera, M has a softer camera, M has fog in opposite corners, U has a margin focus fog on the right frame, but in terms in overall detail both are quite same. Secondary camera is useless in both cases, with a very very little advantage on U's processing.
SD card is very usefull on M taking videos and saving data, also using 320mp3 or flac format. U has very little storage.
Hope 4.3 will do better on camera processing to become a true champion in its class!

1.Unable to move app to sd card
2.Camera
3.Unable to install some games.
4.some time it's getting struggle to run some application .

If you are not much of a 'gamer' then 2gb of storage shouldn't be much of a problem because most apps don't take up a lot of space...

Just upgraded from Xperia U. Really benefits from the 1GB RAM in terms of general slickness, coupled with JB. Prefer the more subtle and classy notification light. Main camera seems as good as the XU, so fine by me for a 5Mp, and I am picky - though mainly use it outdoors so low light performance not an issue. Camera button has a much lighter action, so less wobble. Front camera is significantly worse than XU's though, with very poor low light performance - rather an issue for typical Skyping etc. LCD has a cold colour temperature which is a little offputting at first, but getting used to it now. Not a heavy games player, so low internal storage not too big a deal, and at least all photos, music, videos etc can be shoved across to microSD. Speaker seems much louder, so ringtones much clearer without distorting, and audible from elsewhere in the house or in the street. Would prefer separate soft keys for the navigation, but having them on-screen seems to be just the way things are going now with device harmonisation - and probably a bit of cost cutting. At least photos and videos can display using the entire screen area.
