2nd-m has no heating problems.it has been bought by lakhs of people and no one has complaints.
3rd-i would not recommend it as it is outdated though very beautiful. i suggest u all guys get urself a e4g.e4g us already the best selling phone in uk,germany,france..and in india,many of my friends have bought it.that cyrus mody is a liar as no one will buy a outdated xperia m(although good phone) just 4 months before.he is a troll paid by competitior marketers to mislead people.
summary.
1-cyrus mody never bought xperia m(it is not available in shops now.u have to order one from sony.and only hardcore sony fans will ordee it to keep it as menento)
2-sony has reported its largest operating profit in 2014.it has released m4aqua, c4,e4,e4g,lavender,p2,z4,z4c,a4 this month only.sony is not stopping.its a big lie.
3-sony servuce centres are very friendly. go n check urself.
4-dont buy m as it is outdated.get urself a e4g if u want a sony phone.

Hi Guys,
I have been using this phone for more than 1.8 yrs. I bought this phone in the week wen it was launched. It's pretty good phone. Actually its outdated. when it is launched it was the one of best phone in the range of 13k.But after so many months , new china brands overcome the specs of all branded mobile.
Pros: Decent display
Handy (I like 4" phones)
Good HW quality
Video recording is better in day time
connectivity is good
Sony Brand is the brand. after Iphone it is better than Samsung
sound quality is great
support all the videos(But now 5" phones are good for movies and games)
Cons: Poor Battery backup
Low ram and internal memory
Front camera is completely waste ,u cannot use in day time too
Phone heats up
Photo quality is pathetic
Camera but not responsive it will take atleat 20 secs to open camera afert u press a key button
U can only use basic apps (Low internal memeory will make u feel bad wen ur frn using other china phones)

Guys dont buy this phone in India. Am relating my experience here.
So I basically bought the phone about 4 months ago, and have been having problems from day one. To start with I noticed right out of the box that the phone had trouble connecting to the network. It would randomly lose signal and then not reconnect till it was restarted.
To add to this, the phone developed a crack right through the back panel entirely on its own, without having been dropped. I checked online and apparently this is endemic with this model, and is caused due to the battery overheating.
Finally, it stopped working one day and when I took it to the service center, the person without even hearing me out told me that my guarantee had been voided due to the crack on the back cover.
Now I realise that Sony is shutting down its cell phone business, and may be trying to cut corners a little bit, but this is ridiculous. The staff were rude, and just werent interested to hear anything. They quoted me 75% of the phone's original cost to repair it, or offered me a 30% discount on a new phone - as if anyone would be so stupid as to buy another product from them after just having been treated the way I was!
Anyways, just wanted to let everyone know about my rather costly and unfortunate experience. My friends and I were truly impressed by this phone when I bought it, but I have to admit its been a huge let-down from the Sony team and I would advise strongly against purchasing it.

FORGET FLASHING CUSTOM ROMS
Install Xposed framework and modify your system. Those who are afraid of issues like bootloop as they might not have installed a custom recovery, install Xposed. 2.5 where you get safe mode facility through which you can temporarily disable xposed during boot up process and avoid bootloop.
GIVE IT A TRY. THERE ARE MANY MODIFICATIONS YOU CAN DO WITH THIS WITHOUT INSTALLING A CUSTOM ROM.

c1904 hangs up very often. it become very hot while internet/watsup etc. not worth. i am unhappy with this phone.

Unfortunately ur new XM will come with 4.3 out of the box. 4.3 introduced several bugs too and am not happy too. i wudnt have advised u to get this phone.

Hello Xperia M users, please tell me how to set phone in various profiles like silent, vibrate according to the environment, and while downloading the contents why it is saved in the Internal Memory rather than SD card or tell me the process of transferring contents that is saved in the Internal Memory to SD card...,?!
