Well friend, i only wanted to help about finding an information...
Honestly it's so sad that Sony developers does not fully realise how it's to use day-to-day the phone, not only to manufacture it.
My most issues were with camera (i do not have the dual one...in my country mostly, in my region, is's almost no service available for Sony smartphones, so dual it's quite late on the market) but, i haven't got any answer (on Sony care) about a more evident fact in camera settings(even pc companion it's not working). Were only my guessings about someone who did read them in a way or another. My prayers were not answered by this date, by those latest updates.
I've updated again (not by pc companion) my M and not a big deal (maybe because it's a beta testing firmware).
About your sadness i know it's kind of unfaire fact, but even with that, somehow M remains the best priced option android smartphone. I hope as much as you, that next updates will solve the camera, storage and this dual issue as best as possible. Sony did good things in the past but still not perfect, i honestly belive M will reach the best of so-called marketing perfection!

i bought dis phn 2 days back now when a msg comes notification led is not blinking the color for msgs and missed call are dffrnt still it is not blinking what to do pls help....

The dual sim stand-by is very important because unless we have this feature we can’t keep the sim 2nd active when we are browsing with sim 1st. I have a bad experience with Xperia Tipo dual from the last 8 months. This I came to know from the Sony service centre personnel, last month. It is very much embarrassing all the time when I enable the data traffic the on 1st sim in a moment or within 3 minutes the signal notification bar of the 2nd sim will become blank. Sometimes rarely there will be signal notification but if we call the sim 2nd network message says ‘not reachable’. But majority of the after disabling the data traffic the lost signal of the 2nd sim won’t come back or re-establish….. this is very bad, that too in a SONY product.
‘This feature should not be there with a device costing `.10 k & +’. Many un-branded available in the market have dual stand-by feature.
Since one may not keep on speaking to the calls all the time. But every time one should keep the data off means it’s not worth to buy such a device. Here the very feature of the DUAL SIM MOBILE WON’T SERVE.
All Samsung mobiles with dual sim come with dual stand-by.
FRIEND you please check again for my sake and all the Xperia users’ sake. Why I have highlighted this because in XpM Dual specification it has not mentioned!.
As I spoke the ‘Sony Support Centre’ and asked about the functionality of the dual sim as noted above then the EXECUTIVE replied to me that “You keep the data off when you are not using internet you disable it” as he told. This doesn’t serve the purpose of DUAL SIM DEVICE. All Android devices are not useful without an active net connection. I also informed the SONY developers not launch such product which does not serve the purpose which intended to. Such a reputed Company with great product background should not launch the product like Xperia Tipo.
Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese let me know it’s true as Support Centre person replied me………

anybody by chance dropped your mobile just want to know how fragile M is because I don't like to use a hard cover . No information on the glass panel used.
