Best fone. We have to pay some extra money but its value for money. Keypad options and finger slide writing are best features of this fone. 100% marks to this small fone. Prefer Dual sim.

why sony is not interested in giving a update for the camera performance to its xperia m ,when all other functionality of the device is quite good. is sony weak in software section, is the reason true as it has compromised with krait processor and other good hardware,then why is sony making all its customers,its king to cry&cry&Cry.

hai! every one ! just wait(till 2014), android is giving us a.k.a.,kitkat, android 4.4 , which is to run on devices with as low as 512mb ram.so let us al wait for the OEM to give us a budget device with latest android 4.4.

Check if your internal memory is not TOO LOW. If it is so, then it hangs. Keep at least 400-500 mb of free space in internal memory. And frequently clear the cache and junk files so that ram memory will increase. Restart your mobile once in every 15 days.
If you do all this, Its damn sure, u wont get any LAG at all.

my dealer cheated me by giving me the lower model which is single simmed the lower one very bad with internal memory of2.05 gb .is that ajoke .no its not i am going to my dealer and exchange it and if he doesnnt iam reporting him.this is heights.

When I faced this issue, firstly I rebooted and second time I switched on the mobile data (went off due to power management function).. need to check with sony centre if i got this issue again..
BTW battery is poor..

Guys..whoever is saying that apps r possible to transfer to sd card by rooting nd stuff..please tell in detail.. coz i hv rooted my phone..installed those app2sd kindof apps..but its nt working.. at max. I was able to shift data folders only.. not actual app !! Link2sd has a method where u can create secondard partition on mem card which acts as internal memory.. eveen dats not working...
Request.. if u know..nd have shifted apps to mem card on xperia m..share it bro.. we all need that !!

Just got this phone about 4 days ago and so far, twice it has gone into such a mode where I see full signal from the carrier (Airtel/Vodafone etc), but I don't receive any incoming calls, nor I can make any outgoing calls. Others who try to call me get the message that it's either switched off or unreachable. And when I try to make an outgoing call, it just keeps on going forever without actually getting connected.
Has anyone else seen this kind of behavior? Is this already a known bug with this model? Any help, please advice. Thanks.

AnonD-201653, 31 Oct 2013This phone is having issues with the camera focus in previe... moreSadly, the only minuses of this phone come with the camera preview and some reactions to focus and flash (in stock camera most)...it stops music player\video player when focusing, and maybe freezing them, but the only camera software that cheat those issues is UCAM for tablets free from Play Store.
The front camera has the same blurry processing and being much smaller than the rear, the need of a close strong light to talk on Skype, is a must.

go for xperia m if u want to avoid lags in this budget segment, grand got larger screen but it is full of complaints and bugs. Embedded with old processor and poor resolution.

wich fone shud i buy xperia m or grand quattro??? my basic needs are big screen, good battery backup,nice internet speed and wich does not lag while playing games lyk tempel run,subway surfer etc..

no possibility of saving apps to sd on dual model, so consider xperia c which support this functionality.
