I bought this mobile for Rs.12990 at Sony center which is pretty low when compared to other mobile outlets.
First of all its a mid range phone and dont expect it to perform like xperia z or HTC one or other higher end mobiles.
Xperia M is a decent handset packed with 1ghz dual core processor and 1 gb ram that does its job very well. The internal storage is 4gb but only 2gb is available to users.
The rear camera sports a 5 MP with led flash and performs decently. The front camera is enough for video calling purpose.
Casual games run without lag, thanks to the GPU.
Call and music quality are very good for a mobile at this range.
4' display is good when we look straight and is blur at other viewing angles.
Battery performs well. With power management tools, it is very good.
Overall the device is fine with its looks and performance. Best to buy at this price range.
If you are not interested with brands you can get micromax canvas hd at same price with higher specs.
My opinion for Xperia M: Thumbs up..!

I am planning to buy sony xperia M. whether is it dual standby phone? If it is dual standby whether i need to press any button to swap between sim 1 and sim 2 to make a call on corresponding sim please confirm or dialing have option to select particular sim?.

It is based on older architecture and gpu is also very outdated..
Compared to xm which has cpu based on latest
Moreover sony brand is value is way more superior in mobile phones as compared to lenovo..
architecture and its gpu is very powerful...
Only advantage of lenovo is that it got 720p screen..

XL's camera is 8mp but still XM's camera clarity is better. I have tested both the cam at one mobile gallary.
I dont understand why ppl like XL camera!!

Better camera
Little bit better screen
And larger ofcourse but pixel density is less
More internal memory
Regarding perfomance both will perform identical as they share a common chipset i.e. S4 plus..
At the end it only depend upon the cash you are willing to pay..
