Trust me last year they launched Xperia J and it was terrible even worse than M is! It was launched in October mid and an update before 5th December fixed all the problems! Then it was the best phone! It's great even now and will be great the next year too!
This phone is launched at a time slot when Sony launches the best entry level phone good enough for 2 years but launches it with terrible software.
I have seen them do this for years now!
Just be patient!

anuj, 02 Sep 2013i just want to know the drawbacks of xperia m?internal memory is the only drawback....thats it,, apart from that every thing is fine in this budget,, orelse go for xperia sp price is 21000... or wait xperia c is going to launch it is coming with the price around 20k go for that,, if budget doesnt matter

Guys please don't buy this by falling for its specs because sony knows how to chest customers as there sales are already low and I brought this phone 1week back and already faced tons of problems like auto crash and reboot,average display worst camera, actually before I was recommending this sony to everyone but now I never ever buy sony buy desire x it has everything and also a premium brand htc, anyways none gonna play games after somedays all peoples will just use for calls and sms so peoples sit calmly and deside and im not new to android I have used nearly 50 phones but this phone is totally worst and also no resale value lol just be mature and think urself if u buy this phone u really gonna come here and list ur problems good luck bye friends

Because sony has lot of problems im facing it since I brought it like auto reboot etc,buy htc desire x I was actually thinking of htc only but when I fall for this specs I unexpectedly brought this stupid xperia so I recommend desire x as none gonna play games after some days you only use it for calls and sms so buy desire x it is premium phone

Anonymous, 02 Sep 2013hey ! nyone suggest me for xperia M or samsung core dont go for galaxy core it lags manytimes,, u better to go for xp m,,, y bcoz xp m is good in gaming it plays the hd games without any lags so go for xp m instead of galaxy core

i bought this mobile 3 days back it is good,,, and it is working very smooth with out any lags,, but main problem is internal memory it is very low 1.50 gb available,, may be after rooting u can extend your memory to sd card. and you can install apps directly in sd card,,, please guys any one find this rooting,,, and help me with this rooting
