RAM determines how smoothly your phone operates (in conjunction with the CPU) and it plays a major role in deciding which Android upgrades you get. RAM RAM RAM! It's very important on Android.
SD card slot is very important for many of us too. I absolutely need one, do you? You probably really do or don't. At least this phone does have one.
I want a Bravia Engine too but it's the last on my list. I'm not totally sure on Sony technologies but my Sola had Bravia and Reality Display. The Reality display made a very beautiful screen but contributed to very bad battery life.

Its not all about CPU performance, if you look at the whole package the Krait option is very superior.

Internal memory is very important in android phones because u can't install apps and games on external memory card.

I'm comparing with 3 cups & they are
Dual-core 1.2 GHz Scorpion + 768 MB RAM
or
Dual-core 1 GHz Krait +1 GB RAM
or
Dual-core 1 GHz Cortex-A9 +1 GB RAM
which one of these is better performance and support the android better with it's updates??
another question
does the internal memory makes different whit the phone ??
and what's that different??

Sony official website is not showing the status of Xperia M (www.sonymobile.in). It is not there in the products page. In other countries it is showing that the product is in the status NEW. Why it is not displaying that the product is NEW or even COMING SOON in India. Is it releasing in India or not??

AnonD-174363, 11 Aug 2013which cpu is stronger the krait or the cortex or scorpion??... moreKrait and Cortex both have many different versions, for example Cortex A5 is ridiculously slow and bad while A15 is superpowered. Krait comes in different versions as well, the Xperia M uses two original Krait cores, which is older and not as powerful as Krait 300 and Krait 400.
You could say that each of the Krait cores in are similar to the each of the 4 cores in Xperia Z, but clocked 33% lower in Xperia M. That does not however mean that each core has only 33% lower performance than Xperia Z, as in reality they dont even have half the performance on average, for some tasks you would see like 10x lower performance. This is due to small amounts of cache in the cheap Krait used in Xperia M, L and Nokia 520, they are quite crippled, to keep the cost down. But still a bit better than many Cortex A9 dualcores (for example Galaxy Grand).
For Scorpion its a bit simpler, it has approximately the performance of a Cortex A9 but it does not matter since its a product reaching EOL.
