No it doesn't even lag while taking photo it takes decent photos also. Which wp8 are you talking about? All run on duel core karit. Any proved it laged? Did any user ever complained of wp8 laging? Go for xperia L 4.3inch screen, both have same battery, but xperia L have 8gb internal memory and price 17k.

I do not know at what basis microsoft is charging 15$ per phone as license fee,while it has nothing impressive and even developers are not intrested in making apps for wp8 os.thatswhy many mobile companies are going away from wp8 os.

I on my first post compare about Xperia m and it some current competitive phone. One of you just ditched Lumia calling it junk. Guys we are here just to give people decent and good reviews of phones and its what i am doing. I am not a fanboy of any os just a decent reviewer.

i still confused to buy either this phone or xperia l to replace my old xperia x8, in my country malaysia ,sony xperia l price around rm 800-rm850.If this phone lower than xperia l,i guess better take this phone even though the screen has been reduced from 4.3 to 4.0inch,but the gpu(adrena 305) ,ram (1gb), cpu( 1ghz dual core craitz ) still same as xperia l.Hopefully this phone can be rooted because the internal storage 2gb was too small(need to install link2sd apps) for that.
