Worst mobile don't buy this mobile..
unable to move apps to SD card 1gp internal storage that's the application storage .. very very worst i tried all things... but it's not possible to move ..

Yeah I agree with some of the opinion suggesting to buy a new phone with kitkat as there is no hope that M will receive the update to Kitkat. But I bought the phone the day it was released in India and believe me i did some research and used different mobile within the range and M is the best available out there.

Sub : Defective Product, Extremely Poor Services,
Sony – Xperia M – mobile bought vide invoice No.3316 Dt.23.12.2013.
Touch pad not worked and repaired on 7.4.14 by Accel again same complaint addedd to this Battery gets heated up fast given to Repair and Return Technology vide Job No. W114072405204 Dt. 24.7.14
This is in regard to the extremely poor product of Sony Mobile, awful services of Sony Mobile Service Centre, false promises made by the Sony salesmen on purchasing the product, I am unable to visit service centers so frequently due to round the clock commitments of my job, mistakenly I trusted Sony Mobiles, who without fail gave me frequent troubles for which I am repenting till date.
I purchased Sony Xperia M on 23 Dec 13, believing the salesman that the product is sturdy and would be reliable. I shifted from Blackberry to Sony to experience better quality and services but started developing problems shortly after the purchase.
After four months touch pad does not work and may handset was handed over to Sony Service Center in Accel Frontline Chennai. The service center provided services which could have been rendered by any company. They were not in possession of the screen which was to be replaced for which I had to make a trip of 40 kms again from my duty station.
Making a second mistake of trusting the Company for their services, I checked only the screen and not the complete handset. I discovered that the same problem after three months and the battery back is not good, it gets heated very fast and given it to Repair and Return Service Centre vide JOb No. W114072405204 Dt. 24.7.14 and again the Service center was not having spare parts and told me to come after two working days for which I could not wait due to work pressure and had to leave for my duty leaving the handset with the service center.
I had visited Sony Service Station several times and called over phone 43570708 which is not reachable and if it rings no one will pick up. Such a worst Customer care and calls are unattended. Self had suffered due to the faulty handset for a long time as my office mails cannot be shifted to one mobile to other mobile due to strict complaince issues and confidentiatlity.
The state of the product after expiry of its warranty can be well imagined by looking at its performance at present when it has not even completed half of its warranty period.
It seems that Sony mobiles have taken its customers for granted not realizing the value of time of the customers. Purchasing Sony Xperia M has caused me tremendous harassment. I could not speak to my near and dear ones for a prolonged time not to mention the repurcurssions of loss of internet connectivity which includes financial losses and other losses which cannot be quantified. The extreme mental trauma experienced by me cannot be gauged and has reinforced my faith of not to purchase any Sony product and recommend the same to other customers and to all my colleagues.
The response of the customer service is very poor I wasted my valuable time speaking to various executives Chennai office and till date it is not ready and delaying. Need your immediate intervention. Due to this delay unable to access mail. This mobile is not user freindly as it hangs frequently and take time to cut the call and make another call.
Kindly arrange to provide me a new mobile handset instead of the old one.

As almost all the reviews says, in this price range the phone includes all features you are looking for a smart phone.
I am using this phone for past 7 months and it is working fine.
But consider following issues before you make a decision:
1) You can not install application on SD card!!!. The internal memory is 4GB and 2.5GB already filled with inbuilt application, google updates and android. You get remaining 1.5GB and it is too insufficient for keeping your application. your phone always says "storage space running out". You start deleting apps from your phone.App2SD will not help any more. Form Sony support I got a reply saying they are not going to fix this issue. 32GB expandable memory card can be used only as a mass storage device, just to store your movies and pics
2) If mobile data enabled , the phone gets heated up in few minutes if a call is received or made. It gets heated up more near to ear piece and you may need to keep it away from your ear. This is annoying and it happen more often.
3) Speaker phone does not have any noise reduction. If you put speaker phone, the it is too difficult for other person to understand your conversation.
