hello guys, i am an xperia z1 compact user since 6-7 months and i m very much happy with it. till today no lag at all. I am so much impressed with the sony that now i want to gift this set to my dad on his 50th birthday in october. Can anybody knows when it is going to be available in india.

Xperia M2 have Gorilla glass 3 and Xperia M2 aqua have Scratch-resistant glass. What is the better ?

You will get better color in straight angle. Why you want to view the fone in side angle? M2 was launched at the price RS 22,000 ($360, So, M2 Aqua price may be RS 24,000 ($400). Now, Z is available at Rs 20000, Z1 at 25000. But Sony providing scratch-resistant glass in M2 Aqua. Thats greate, Z models does not have scratch-resistant

As for me I'll wait until december. Holidays might drag the price a little bit lower, plus 3 months on the market by that time should also do the trick of lowering the price a little bit more. You should have waited until the holidays. Lots of discounts and sometimes gadgets come with an extra accessory like 2K worth of headphones.

It is a water resistant but no triluminos display. In case of display quality, i think m2 aqua is much better because of its ips display vs tft of z. Viewing angle of xperia z is not much satisfying... fyi

marky sparky 123, 28 Aug 2014this or the experia z to buy help pleaseIf you want better display and performance go for Z. M2 Aqua has only 540 x 960 pixels (~229 ppi pixel density,)wont get better display compare to Z. Also Z comes with Triluminous dispaly.
Only + point in Aqua is its water resistant glass and has scratch resitant glass.
Z models having ASF film on the glass, which may get scratched easily. You can remove it, but you will lose the warranty.
