Best phone ever, this phone has everything that I need it to have. Picture quality and speakers, good for gaming as well, battery life is fairly good. Although sometimes it really heats up a lot and has only crashed 4 times ever since I got it in 2015. I can say that I am truly pleased with this phone.
My screen cracked though, so I cant get it fixed cos its expensive so I got body glove glass protector so works fine for me.
I am however still trying to get an upgrade for Marshmallow version 6.0

After upgrading to marshmallow, my Xperia m4 aqua dual Shows only 883 Mb of RAM. Please HELP me to solve this problem as sson as possible. I already tried to repair software by pc companion and also factory reset my phone.

i have xperia m4 aqua dual. it shows only 883 mb of total ram instead of 2 gb. my phone got too slow. i contacted to sony support but not got appropriate satisfied answer help me to solve the problem

Pro:
-lightweight
-pretty
-good front camera
-waterproofing works perfectly for me
Contra:
-slow af, getting slower every time I use it, octa core is just a marketing gag
-no Fingerprint for a 280€ phone
-back gets scratched up more easily than iPhone 7 jet black (that's a fact)
-battery doesn't last very long
-takes 4 (!) hours to charge
-Android 6.0 after a too long delay with still many issues, then no updates anymore
-gaming almost impossible
-loading times 4 times longer than on a comparably proced iPhone
-back camera takes 5 seconds to take a picture, with 6.0 still 3 seconds
-back camera has horrible quality
-front camera also takes so long to take photos although they look good
-plastic sides and low quality plastic back, not acceptable for this price range
-bezels too thick
-dozens of software problems and bugs
-almost no storage available, many apps not movable to SD card, SD card as internal storage disabled by Sony on purpose
Conclusion: back to an old iPhone 5, it's so refreshing. I'll never go back to Android. Sony now f*cked up for me. This is the worst phone I've ever had. It also lost 3/4 of it's value in one year, so reselling doesn't really make sense. Even the practically unusable Xperia X10 mini pro was better back in the day. I would rather use an iPhone 4 or 4s than this, and those are sold on eBay for like 50 bucks. This seems to be similar to ZTE Blade S6, which has been advertised as the "iPhone-killer". Don't trust it, they lie. It's a low end phone in disguise with too high price tag. Avoid this phone as well as the Blade S6 and all Snapdragon 615 phones which sell for more than $ 100.
One tip to everybody, please keep this always in your mind when buying a smartphone: Better buy an old used flagship than a new mid ranger. The high end phone was good back in the day, so why shouldn't it also be today?

crappy phone, mine died after 11 months, heated up like hell, think that all soldering melted and messed up, I dunno how much cpu, motherboard and other components takes, but mine heated up over 70 Celsius degrees.
so short review: no space, poor performance (cpu overheats over 65 Celsius without doing to much to it), overheating and very unpleasant to hold it in your hand except winter when is good to warm your hands and no concerns that it will freeze on -15 Celsius degrees outside, poor wifi, dies before year 1, camera is so so(I had a cheap Chinese phone that made better pictures)
the good thing is that is water resistant, but how it helps me if the phone is dead

It crashes all the time and I'... moreTap the top of the phone by the sony brand and the front facing camera , the phone will auto restart... the reason it crashes is because the cpu melted the soldering on the motherboard now everytime you move it slightly or do anything regarding movement it will crash
