This is the worst phone I ever had, storage keeps taking space for no reason and I don't know what makes like that. switched to Xiaomi Mi A2 lite, way better phone in almost every way possible. The camera is also very bad for me, can't take a decent shot. The software of the camera is also very bad.

Saber_Hunterz, 05 Jan 2019I like it and have had it for 3 years but it overheats sooo... more2GB RAM and 8GB memory is the whole memory on the phone, part of it is used by the installed system (andorid) thats why you have less space available, but if you want you can buy a micro sd card with up to 32 GB to the phone and have more space.

I like it and have had it for 3 years but it overheats soooooo bad!!!!! it realy hurts to touch it and gets a bit warm when switching on and playing simple games also mine has 4GB storgae not 8GB and 1GB RAM not 2GB RAM also why does the reveiw say it has 10GHZ!!!!! I THINK 3GHZ IS THE MAX FOR THINGS!!!!! also i don`t think it has a 1080p display but i like the theme and android version....... this makes me want to get a new good phone since the low performance.. but i still like it.

totally bad with signal. i can barely get 3G networks while in a huge town. if i go outside of it (3 kms outside of it) i run out of signal. At countryside I don't get any kind of signal with this phone, not even 2G while other phones can get even 4G networks with no problems.
not recommending this phone, the memory is almost dead, only 1 GB left space for installing apps.

Works great.
Problems and solutions:
Biggest problems are overheating and low storage space, but i solved it by using lite versions of apps and for games installed gba emulator takes little space and brings back memories.
And camera is slow.
Battery life:
I charge it daily but if used rarely can last up to week.

Had mine for 3 years now and are very satisfied with it. No waterproofing or heating problems encountered. The only negative is the 8Gb internal storage. Best phone ever and I will stay with Sony.

Totally crap. Crappy thermal design. Overheating causes motherboard damage like signal issues.Camera really sucks (i carry my Lumia to take pictures). Camera crashes after a few seconds because of overheat. And trust me front facing camera is better than rear facing camera. Don't even buy this phone second hand. Planning to switch to second hand/used iphone 5 because this phone is so unbearable. I dont even mind storage issues.
Software is pretty much incomplete.So much bug in sw. There isnt any otg support even PMIC and Charging IC supports otg. Phone is so easy to bend because there is NO metal in this phone except ultra thin mid frame.
Great thing is touch sensivity. It is perfect. Only best side of this phone. And yep this phone is extremely thin and light.

Bought second hand.
Slim and decent screen size.
Very good camera.
No storage issues though only downloaded 20apps
Only problem gets hot.
Cheap price on auction sites
Why pay several hundred pounds for the latest phone?

With only 8G of storage and no ability to download or transfer apps to an SD card and already preloaded with unerasable bloatware this otherwise stylish phone becomes useless.Pathetic

This phone is supposed to be water resistant. Mine fell into water, the screen is blurred now and doubles images. Too expensive to replace the screen. I have to get rid of it.

average satisfaction
used for 2.5 years. camera is good in day light. one day battery back up . i faced mother board short after 2.5 years. and heating is a main problem i faced from the beginning itself.

Sony phones seems to have a very limited lifespan. I have been using M4 Aqua for 2 years now, no more warranty and that's where all major problems popped out. First, the battery is swelling and I have tough times searching for a new one. Secondly, intense overheating problem. Thirdly, headphone jack completely stopped working. Forthly, extreme lags almost all the time eventhough I have cleared all apps usage data and restarting it. Does not worth the money that I paid for. Shame on you, Sony!

Worst phone ever....after completing warranty period its mother board broke down and after repairing again it broke down. So don't buy this phone
