After the last update i cannot hear anything when people are calling/or when i am calling someone. I can hear others only when on speaker.
Sony is the most stupid producer of smartphones. How the hell can you launch an software update that destroy the very important thing a phone is made for: talking?!?!?!

If you get the 16gb and know how to disable unwanted apps I guarantee this device is excellent every last bad review was from the 8gb users

The main problem with this phone is the limited storage, which can be (partially) resolved with an SD card. Otherwise, it is a decent device with good battery life.

Not a great phone. Front camera quality really low, storage is horrible and the phone isn't durable. If you can go with another brand definitely do so.

i need a phone with good camera, i just love to clock photos.
and i want to click the perfect moment. as i am a musician sound is important for me so i choose sony, actually m a big fan of sony.
i need good camera, battery, sound quality, no heating problem.
i am about to buy this phone, in my budge i found it with good specification.

has it compass ?
can it record clear sound with bass ???

worst phone ever on memory, bloated with pre loaded apps , and finally no space to install 3rd party apps , only about 2GB is finally left to install apps.
Worst front(selfie) camera , pictures come out really dark even in good lighting conditions.

j7 has 16gb memory ,m4 only 8gb and if you buy a sd card ,the dafult storage cannot change to sd card .So, you must after download into internel memory and transfer into the sd card,and the internel meory is so less is only 900mb because the android system is use many space of internel memory and you also cannot download too much apps and the apps will use many memory like fifa 15 or dead trigger2 will use you memory 1gb because some apps is cannot transfer to sd card and some apps only can transfer a little memory to the sd card ,some memory of the apps will in the internel memory,the camera white balance is weak,the colour of the camera is not so nice but is ok. This phone has heating issue on the of back of the phone only the up of the back is hot ,when use the playing game for 20 minutes,not a heavy game,only like shadow fight, it will be very hot, i think hot like 40 to 45 celsius.In my country Malaysia, sony m4 is a 8gb and 3G version not a 4G LTE Version.But i don't konw your country is 16gb or 8gb,3G or 4G LTE. BUT if your country is a 16GB and 4GLTE version you can buy, it will be very good.
