Lamyah, 10 Sep 2015Heating up.......is one main probs of tis phone I am also facing the same problem of heating. Checked up with service center. They examined it, declared that system is fine and no issues found in the mobile.
I would suggest that no body should by such mobile. It is becomes so hot that it gives burning sensation near ear and holding it in the Palm in hot conditions is difficult.
So request all not to by Sony Xperia M4 aqua. Please take this feedback seriously otherwise u will repent on your decision and you will loose your money

Please DO NOT purchase this phone if you know what's best for you. I have been a loyal Sony fan for years and after this purchase I'm totally done. Thanks to my service provider as well, Virgin mobile Canada, who add the icing on the cake.
So I purchased this phone not even a month ago. The very first night with it, it began to reboot on its own and heated up consuming sooo much power. I decided to return it and got a replacement of the very same phone assuming the first has its own defects (all for the love of Sony phones). The replacement did the same as well. I went back to my service provide to either change brand totally or get my refund they told me I they could not do that per "THEIR" policy which I wasn't made aware off at the time of the purchase. They told me the option the have right now is taking it for repair, A SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN A BRAND NEW PHONE going for repair. Ok did as they had suggested but before I did I asked them what they would do for me if it came back dead AGAIN. They said I'd have to keep taking it back for repair (imagine that). Two weeks I had a loaner phone that froze 99.99% of the time (as good as having no phone). I just got back my phone and guess what IT'S STILL REBOOTING. I called virgin mobile right away and they said they need to take it back to their repair centre. What for??? to get it fixed! It just got back from the repair centre and still dead so why should it be returned??? They put me on hold saying they'll have to come up with another resolution only to be transferred to another department and the customer support left and went home. In other words I'd take it as hanging up on me w/out resolving the issue. I am going to sue virgin mobile for all of this inconvenience only to be mistreated as their loyal customer!!!!

Is 26.1.A.2.99 slower than earlier versions? and will this phone get another update in future?

First one I sent away because it kept overheating and had to force start.. I bought a replacement and had the same problem within a month.. Now I have 2 faulty phones. Sony shouldn't do cheap! Disappointed.. Thanks for the info on the pin trick..

It says the phone is scratch proof but mine got scratch, does it have protective sheet that I can just take off just like other xperia phones? Its bothering me :(

I bought this one on July 29, 2015, I noticed the the phone becomes very very hot in the back even no extra apps are running. only thing I noticed at that moment there is no phone network available. even I reboot the phone and closed the apps for a few times. do you guys have the same problem?

I purchased this phone on a 2 year contract and so far it hasn't disappointed, the camera is sharp, has a good 5inch display and the 2gb of RAM is quite handy when playing games . In my opinion this device should be running the Stock Android UI but that is my only flaw. If you are searching for a mid-range phone with the aesthetics of a flagship xperia phone this is the one for you.
