I took this phone in Italy it was a present from my dad. I was using a Lumia 625. The camera in m4 is awesome and I love big screen phones I play games and browse internet and this heat up a bit but its okay comparing to Lumia 625 the battery is also good I love this phone. But different people have different reviews. I love this phone. This is awesome

is it possible that every... moreI purchased this phone on 22. July. Took it to the repairs on 24 because noticed some defects on display. It was in repairs until last Friday (14. August) and they gave me a new phone. My guess is - the repairs were slow because a) it is summer (vacation period); and b) there are no spare parts for this phone in regional centers.
The phone before the last update (A.2.99) was acting very hot (but of course, this is not the same phone now) but now it is tolerable. The storage space (of 8 GB) is a joke but for my needs it is sufficient. As I do not play games with phones then there is no overheating - except with Chrome when opening several sites at once.
What I do dislike with this phone is that the back has small bulges on sides - where the ports are. But this problem is present with all glued Xperias, I think it is caused by the components that heat up in this area.
I took the M4 on purpose because it has plastic frame and no-glass back. When you look any used Z series Xperia, it has slightly bent frame and tendency to break the glass. Because when the phone (Z-series) gets hot, it slowly (over time) bends the aluminium frame and this will cause breaking the glass sooner or later. If you use your phone for mail and phone calls only then of course nothing to fear.
So, alltogether, this is a fine phone with some issues to consider. For serious gamer, I would recommend something that is not made in Sony factories. But then again, all modern phones have their own problems.

is it possible that every single unit of this phone has a dead speaker and is in service center from the day one because it died? :D
now, is there anyone out there who really has this phone?
i want to buy it but 8 gigs of memory really distresses me.
how's the battery life i mean especially how much screen on time do u get between charges without gaming?

Plz dont buy this phone, i gifted this phone to my wife 15 days back and deeply unsatisfied. The phone heats a lot, gets auto shut off and keeps on heating. ringtone gets off automaticaly, sony service centres have no answer to our queries.....very upset with SONY...can anyone help to escalate this further.

Everything is good except screen and focusing speed. The screen broke after used for 1 months, went repaired, break again. The focusing speed is slow, around 2 to 3 seconds to focus. I prefer a phone with corning gorilla glass.
