Most irritating phone i ever had.. Worst camera quality and no sharpness. Front camera is worst its been 3 days nd still could not take a single beautiful pic from it.. Heats up very fast.. Looks beautiful. Otg is not supported.. Great disappointed

it has heating problem. spending 21000 rupees and facing such type of problem.
it is irritating me...

My son really wanted the M4 and waited for months until it came out. His first M4 had a problem with the speaker: he couldn't hear the caller's voice. When listening through the head phones the sound was ok. After several weeks in repair and lots of phoning up the shop, the repair shop and Sony, he got another phone, which had the same problem. Luckily we found this out while we were still in the shop. Now, after four weeks with the third M4, the same problem occurs. The speaker doesn't work. He doesn't call much so we don't know when this started. Are we the only ones with this problem? Should we try a fourth M4??

Im a user of sony xperia m4 aqua . I bought it at 19.5k. Overall its a good phone . Display is much better thn samsung & htc phones around 20k, camera is good(more of ok) It heats only whn u play high graphics games lyk asphalt 8 airborne coz i played coc on h+ internet connection fr more then 3&1/2 hrs it heated up little. Waterproofing is good (washed in basin & dipped in water more then 50 cms of depth fr 15 second) Design is awesome call volume loud enough & voice clarity is good .Speaker is not that good its loud but sound seems distorted .Earphones are ok .Charging requires 3 hrs.Overall its a good phone for any price under 20k , but above 21k should b called as overpriced . Im using this fr almost 15 days . Even one update is avilable .Go for 16gb version .After using camera for 8-10 mins its gets worm .Battery remains fr 1&1/3 days on normal usage,some gaming with browsers,messengers, sns sites along with 3g or wifi connectivity allows to use phone upto 8-9 hrs .Good phone overall.

i bought this model a month passed. up till now i don't know what is the function of speaker-like at the bottom of the phone. never heard any sound there before. anyone know what is it actually??

Anonymous, 06 Aug 2015Bought the phone yesterday and here are my first impression... moreYou are right in some issue like overheating,1 day battery consumption but if you will use 16 gb memory problem is not a big deal....I bought this phone on 25th July and I scared about display resolution but in this price this phone is nice,also I have used HTC,Samsung,and many other android phone and all phone got 🔥 heated but guys no doubt this phone is very nice and camera has many features.

I think all smartphones makers will be making standard on ROM.. It should alwys be at a minimum of 16gb... at the time andriod has reach the last alphabet on thier version.their will be one left on a 16gb space

Bought the phone yesterday and here are my first impressions. The phone heats up a lot in the upper part if you play games. If you just talk or use the phone for other things, it will stay cool. The battery life is 1 day, definitely not 2. It also charges up very slowly - about 3 hours. The loudspeaker is not really.... loud. The camera is average. The internal storage (8GB) is a problem. After updating the pre-installed apps, installing 1 game and 2 small apps all that left was 1.2GB.
Despite the mentioned above, overall it's a good phone. It's fast, has an O.K. camera, 4G connectivity, Android 5.0, it's water and dustproof. I tried the Screen Mirroring feature and it connected with a Samsung smart TV without any trouble. But the best thing is you get all that on a very reasonable price. I doubt that you'll find a better phone for that price. If you want better - you have to spend more.

New firmware from Sony today, but no space, even if I moved all Apps to the 128GB memory card. Not quite stable, but probably a result of too much on internal memory.
