You forgo... moreAfter the update, it reduces heating now. it heats up to maximum 46 Celsius while gaming and doesn't heat up on normal task like browsing or downloading etc.
It heats on video recording at the bottom of camera lens. Yes, i have 16 gb version.

You forgot few things.
Is the heating issue serious while browsing the web?
Like heats more than 55 celcius.
I have a xperia e4 it heats to about 50 celcius while browsing the web.
And does the m4 heat up while doing normal tasks like calling more than 10 minutes and playing music?
I will be buying a m4 if heating is not present while calling and using the phone for music.

AnonD-295340, 13 Oct 2015how'sm4's front cam compared to j5? the pics clicked from front camera are nice from j5 but some what not as bright as from sony m4 aqua. While displaying on the pc the pixels on pics of j5 got tear down. For my surprise 5 mp of sony front cam clicks better pics.
All of the camera tests are based on displaying pics on my pc Because boths phones has good screen but not better.

[deleted post]I use ACR call recorder to record calls on my M4. Maybe legality across countries is an issue.
I'm seeing a lot of hate here.
My M4 works fine. Even after I submerged it.
Just don't buy the m4 if you use the camera constantly or need to put a lot of apps on phone.

I have bought this phone. I have moto g3 and Samsung galaxy j5. This is my review in comparison to moto g3 and Samsung galaxy j5.
1> BUILD Quality : This phone has excellent build quality abd really better than moto g3 and Samsung j5. It really looks fantastic. It feels very premium while holding. It's durable also. But i recommend glass guard on it. As i drop it 2 or3 times, it survived. It is waterproof also. While dipping in the water screen does not work but we can click photos with camera shutter button.
2> SCREEN: Screen is bright, tough and scratch less. But it takes fingerprints easily. Sunlight legibility is really good thn moto g3 and Samsung j5
3> SOUND : sound is pretty decent for music but while calling i feel it a bit low than moto g3. Samsung is really outperform it.
4> FRONT CAMERA : it has an awesome camera. Images are really good and crisp , clear.
5> REAR CAMERA : CAMERA IS GOOD BUR BETTER THAN MOTO G3. I FEEL J5 HAS THE BEST CAMERA IN LOW LIGHT.
CAMERA LACKS IN LOW LIGHT BUT OUT PERFORMS WELL IN DAYLIGHT CONDITIONS.
5>UPDATES: Sony has officially said about android marshmallow update and moto g3 will also get it but no word for Samsung j5.
6> high end games. Dead trigger 2, san andreas. Asphalt 8 airborne and respawnables works very well without lag but moto g3 drops framerate and galaxy j5 too even in subway surfers. So sony outperform them well.
7> HEATING PROBLEM: there is heating problem with this phone while playing high end games but its tolerable. Heating has no effect on performance. And heating of the phone is just a bit nkt very much issue but will be fixed in android marshmallow.

Fan of Sony but there's something seriously wrong with this one. Wife bought one - on my recommendation. After 2 days, kept switching off by itself. could only switchback on by holding volume button down along with on /off button for 30 seconds. When it came back on had lost a lot of it's charge! Took it back to shop. now on Samsung J5 - much better. Sonny need to sort this out. Cheaper end phones not working do not help build the brand.

I bought M4 Dual (8 GB) last Wednesday and I love it so much. The only negative side of it is that it has around 2.8 GB left out of 8GB. Pre-installed apps takes about 5 GB+ some more things makes it less space for internal storage. Others apps and accessories are good. It takes around 1 hrs to charge in Stamina mode from 55 to 100 (which is quite good). The battery lasts a day with connection of WiFi+ some gaming. Camera is also quite good, but not that best as like in Z series. It's fully waterproof and also dust and scratch proof.
I would recommend others to buy this phone if they don't play heavy games. If you play heavy games then I would recommend 16 GB version of this. Thanks!
