lol octacore 2.0 Ghz craziness,my alcatel ot pixi 3(4) have mediatek dual core 1 ghz and can run asphalt 8 and many other games without heavy lag than others with the same processor

I think this is the best Phone and counting days to buy this my favorite this is better than iPhone because of the camera and the this is waterproof

Is any one sure about better rear camera among M5 or Z3+ ?? In rest other spec z3+ better choice, however M5 sensor seems IMX230 21.5MP 1/2.4" 7.487mm but it still lacking behind Z3+ sensor and other image processing units like Bionz..

saeed, 09 Aug 2015M5 or z3????????I think M5..comparing the display abouth these 2 devices Z3 has a better one..z3 has a triluminos display and multitouch up to 10 fingers..but M5 hasnt a triluminom display and its multitouch up to 4 fingers only..and Z3 can use as a PS4 controlor..but M5 cant..but i think those are very miner things..but others are very good in M5...like its 2.0 octa core pros..and 21.5Mx rear & 13Mx front camera..so i think it is a better choice..

So, actually mediatek's true octa core moniker is misleading. 8x A53= 2x A57. So, mediatek helio X10 uses very low end CPUs, but 8 if them. Even the helio X10, with 'true' 8 cores, won't stand a chance against 2 A57 cores. This is why there is a HUGE difference in performance between helio X10 and exynos 7420. Helio X10 uses 8 very weak cores. Exynos 7420 and Snapdragon 810 uses 4 very strong cores and 4 very weak cores. But there is only a very small difference in performance between Z2 and M5.

I guess we should expect 300-400 bucks for its price point well im gonna get it either way then throw it straight to the pool lol.

Becaus Xperia Z has 20.7 MP, while this phone has new 21 MP sensor (probably IMX230).

Your statement is very wrong man! The new Mediatek X10 Helio CPU is clocked at 2 GHz times eight since it is a true Octacore processor and has 3 GB of RAM. The Z2 was a great device but it is already a bit outdated. The M5 for sure will be more powerful even if it is just a mid-range device.

Mediatek is not a processor for a flagship,and this phone doesnt have OIS on the videocamera,so it will be properlly separated from the new flagship.Anyway this is very good phone.

However, the Xperia M5 has a nice, curvy design and better cameras. So, it's your choice: The Z2 (Faster, yet expensive) or the M5 (Great design and better cameras, yet cheap).
