Send to SC to change new battery. From SC said current battery v2 is not suitable in Malaysia weather. Thats they told me lor.

I am planning to bring it to service center. Did you requested to change the mainboard ang battery? if that so how long did it take for them to repair it? Did you requested it or they are the one change it voluntarily? need answers sir. Thanks!

Worst phone.. It keeps shutting down.. Contacts always stops and the signal is very weak.. I cant receive calls or messages unless i restart. Why is sony still selling these? They should just return what we paid for..

bought this sony xperia m5 dual 3 weeks ago. and now, it always turn off it self. and will only turn on when i plug in a charger for about 1 or 2 second. and it is continous turn off again...
hope it will be fixed when 6.0 come

I buy sony xperia m5, but in 3days they auto shutdown..,you need to plug the charger to open it..,memo xpress replace it into new m5 but the new xperia that he gave me have the same problem they auto shutdown again..i hate this phone..think about it bfore u buy this phone..

Bien, 01 Jan 2016How did the upgrade go? Did they allow to exchange it to ot... morea sony branch in SM Bacoor pulled their M5 out, they're fully aware of the issue (quite rare for sellers to admit, i'd say) and restock once they get the new bug-free batch.
guess i'll put off buying til they start rolling out the new batch

I planned to upgrade mine to z5 compact but i felt additional 8k pesos is another ripoff!!! Z5 compact has lower specs. Rear cam and fingerprint scanner are its only advantage to m5. Im planning to get LG G4 instead.

just received my phone for the autoshutdown issue.They told me they change the mainboard and new battery.Been using for a week now and everyghing works perfectly fine.Battery last longer too.Thank yoy Sony Malaysia.

Drag it to active quick settings and turn it on the LTE icon. Already a week i didn't face auto shutdown yet on my M5 xperia. Hope this settings can solve the auto shutdown face by other M5 users.

Because in Malaysia it's reall... moreWhich is a Big Shame..cos i see in Taiwan its official they replace this phone.I bot mine in Nov,its stalls without moving gets hotforno reason then now it shuts down over than 5times when i was in Thailand frm 18-23Dec..Sonyi hope you here n will do something positive,a wrong move will affect yor future sales on all Sonys.
