Mangkuk, 03 Nov 2015My phone still in Sony Service Center . 1 month already and... moreyou need to call everyday and argue. yesterday they told me a new replacement unit is coming for me from Singapore. just call them every day or email them.

There is an elongated dual sim card holder, It has two spaces for each of your two sim cards. Alongside the sim card slot is the SD card holder. So yes you get dual sim card facility PLUS SD card. I bought an OPPO R7 last month on the understanding that it had the same set up, but unfortunately it did not. There were two spaces in the sim card holder, which was for either two sim cards or one sim card and one SD card. So really the Oppo is only a single sim card phone when used with a SD card, which is necessary because the Oppo "Color" operating system which runs over the android OS uses half of the available 16GB memory.
So if you need two sims + SD card, then the M5 is the device for you.

AnonD-461804, 02 Nov 2015i thought ure malaysian. so sorry. i just asking, did this ... moreto me, you will make the greatest mistake of your life wasting your money on this crap. just have a look at all these negative comments and negative experiences and go for another phone. if you want to stick to Sony, people are happy with C5 which is slighly cheaper and larger

In regards to your case, we regret to inform you that we do not have replacement policy with replace with another model, at most, we can help you seek approval from our management for a replacement with the same model Xperia M5 dual. Current, your phone is still under checking, we will update you again once we received a new update from our service centre.

Some encountered problems because of the 1st release of the phone, wherein this is like a beta test to know the limitations of the handset based on public experience. So just a tip for buyers, avoid purchasing 1st released phones, some of it has defects. I'm a certified sony xperia user. Mine is a z3c and when I bought it the M5 was just released, the salesman offered me the z3c explaining the issues of the 1st released phones.

I want to buy the phone but want to understand this two issues. Does the phone have three card slots or two cards slots. Where the Three slots will me two for sim cards and one for SDcard(memory)
Or it is only two cards slots whereby when you use two simcards(meaning different network operators), you will not have the option of inserting a SD card for data storage you will have to rely on the 16G phone storage.
