android fones divide d built-in mmry in 2 parts: internal mmry & fone mmry(dis is dn by mnfctrr 2 hlp google). Apps u install undrstnds dis "intrnl mmry" as "extrnl strg" n "fone mmry" as "intrnl mmry".
And Android OS ds NOT sprt mvng of apps, 2 enable this more strongly, they recommend mnfctrrs 2 divide d mmry n encourage android developers to make their apps d way tht they cnt b mvd(mst prbbly).

It's awesome phone...in puna it's on Rs. 13,750.Camera quality just amazing .
800 mz--processor works good.
touch is nice...so go and buy it...

And its not only an ICS problem, its in all versions of android. Google is skipping this impt. feature yrs aftr yrs n preventing 3rd party apps by dividing the built-in memory in two parts.

im planning to buy ur new sony xperia miro but i saw some owners of the phone say that apps cant be moved to ext sd card can you please explain why and if there is/will be any solution for this?

Only certain applications can be moved to SD Card. This is dependant on the apps Developer not the phone itself - Johnny.

Back when I bought my Xperia Mini in January, I was amazed by the specs. Seeing both the tipo and the miro, Sony disappointed me. I mean, c'mon, they didn't even include Bravia Engine in the mix! The chipset of my Mini (1 GHz single-core, Adreno 205) is far more powerful than the miro's (800 MHz, Adreno 200). As far as OS is concerned, mine runs ICS without a problem. The advantages, a bigger screen, Walkman Player and the Sony brand, are all simply covered up by the drawbacks, weaker chipset, no Bravia Engine. Did I mention that the Xperia Mini can be picked up for MUCH LESS than both the tipo and the miro now?
