So GSMArena should write "Available, Released" in both model's specs and they should prepare a review asap, Techradar offered review in July.

lets do 1 thing as i suggested before... moreyes, they are too much ignorant, irresponsive and outdated. i think they do not have proper knowledge about what they r saying.
i flooded them with lots of complaints over email and phone showing various proofs and still they were telling they know nothing about these models. just an hour ago, i compelled them to agree. then they were asking me to forgive them.
and i am also agree with u to go to sony india webpage and the facebook page to complaint.

AnonD-70722, 11 Sep 2012Just today they added tipo models in the sony.co.in website... moreso we will see miro in market in anthr week or so...but marked price by flipkart is too much..(14.5k)!! even if we can get miro around 14k in d market m nt gonna buy it for sure..(yeah i was waiting for 2.5 mnths)..will go for xperia u or xperia GO mostly..!!
not a penny more dan 12.5-13k for miro..!!

Sony Xperia tipo and tipo dual has been officially released in India. These are available everywhere.
Xperia tipo:-
*all colour strips(pink, blue, black & white) available
Price: Sony's MRP price is Rs. 9999 INR.
Available online or offline store price is Rs. 9499 INR
Xperia tipo dual:-
*only black and white colour strips available
Price: Sony's MRP price is Rs. 10499 INR
Online or offline store price is Rs. 10299 INR
Sony's was saying they have no update till today about these phones' exact or expected release dates and pricing. But Finally I COMPELLED them to agree with me.
I rang up my nearest authorised Sony dealer and he said has stock now to sell.

even i called dem a week before..d person could hardly able to speak english..no complaints abt dat.i spoke in hindi..but the way he reacted after hearing tipo n miro was like he is hearing those name for d 1st time..!!
some1 earlier posted here dat he called sony support n day said miro wont b launched in India....dat was d limit of their agyaan..!!Lets go to sony mobile india page n post this issue..!!m serious.!!

Sony ... moreyes buddy..since 2-3 days m sayin dat these fones r availbl..as homeshop18 says in stock n also dey included it in superdeals(discounted rates)..if dey include it in superdeals den dey hav enough of stock with dem for sure.!! As generally rate of ordering is much higher wid superdeal dan generally..!!maniac store also selling it with manufacturing warrenty i.e-devices are not imported.

What the hell with Sony India Support Centre an Flipkart.com!!!?
Flipkart still says expected release: 2nd wk of Sept even after its officially released and available everywhere.
And Sony India Support is worst ever support centre who does not have update of their own products even after release! They r in India for Sony products to release and serve but the worst ever thing that they r like street dogs who know nothing and only bite d customers with crazy and outdated comments.
I think those r not human in Sony India Suppor centre, their quality is lower than the street dogs!
Still today, they say they have no update! But I finally compelled them to say these r released and prices.

And it's no surprise that hvga screen res. is not a gud one for movie watching.

world's 90% of videos are made using this ratio(16:9) these days.
having a handset(miro,tipo) which has a 3:2(aspect ratio) screen is not good for videos at all.

I think miro would be able to handle videos upto res of 800*480 since xperia tipo which is already reviewed by many websites has the same.but no hd playback for miro.
And yes the price seems steep.style has taken the place of performance in sony's new lineup i think(talking about both miro and j).

n m lil confused over here..if they launch miro arnd 14.5k den wat wil J cost? 17-18? whoah...in dat price u will get sola wid better processr(Dual core)..n if they launch j arnd 16k who will by miro den if u r gettin larger screen n better cpu by spending jus 1.5k more...i think sony is messing wid their own devices here...!!
