few examples are - Samsung Galaxy ACE plus(15.5k) , HTC desire C (12.4k)
as compared to these both, MIRO's price is fair enough i guess.

MSM7225A hardware video rendering is... moreI agree with u.the software decoders in the third party players like mx/mobo can only provide support for codecs or formats like mkv,xvid/divx,avi.i don't think they can really influence the video playback resolution if the phone doesn't support it.i maybe wrong but it doesn't seem possible.
Having said that if the manufacturer wants i think it can give the support in the stock video player of the phone out of the box by tweaking the software a bit even if the chipset doesn't support it natively.eg micromax a100 also as snapdragon s1 cortex a5 cpu.it can only shoot 480p but can playback 1080p in the stock video player itself.
The reason i think for that is that the default player is deeply baked or integrated in the OS while 3rd party players r just apps.however they do come in handy while playing various formats xvid/divx or subtitle support which in most budget phones isn't supported by the stock player.but i don't think they can influence the video resolution if the phone's programing doesn't allow.

Hahahaha...SONY has made a big big joke wid us...i saw the price on flipkart yesterday night n suddenly fever came..was suffering whole night..!! Mental shock u knw..!! :D :D :D ;)
If this is the price..then its a Epic fail..no doubt..!!
Lets do one thing...lets go to sony india page n lets post there wid links n lets comment how costly...what made u think dat ppl will buy this fn for dis money etc.... :P

If this phone really comes in this price, it will be a BIG LOSS 4 Sony. People will switch to another model or brand. I will not buy this if it not comes between 12-13k INR.
Now lets see what Sony declares during official release which will be held soon.....

The price of Xperia Miro.. is too too too expensive.... its ont worth for this Phone... better to go for another Brand now... SOny Xperia miro is not worthy in abt 15k INR price... Pribe amount is too large.... Sony should reduce price immidiatly.. otherwise this will be biggest FLOP phone for sony....

Doesn't flipkart.com want to get customer and are not they updated? Acc. to u, why they will hesitate to say "Its released" even after the release? This is bcz they r about to release shortly and r not released till now and thats why everyone is making stocks to ship urgently after the release. Or do u think other way?
Sorry, its not my intention to disturb u or hurt ur feelings. I said bcz I don't get proper justification of ur reply.

U go 4 tipo, tipo dual n miro 2 flipkart.com
They show "Preorder Now" not "Order Now" and u will see there "Expected Release date: 2nd week of September" in case of tipo n tipo dual.
And 4 miro, flipkart.com is showing "Coming soon" and "Notify me" when stock is available instead of "Preorder Now".
These clearly indicate that they have stock of Xperia tipo n tipo dual but will ship after official release. Also they do not have stock of miro.
Note: if u click at "Show details" below the release tag in tipo n tipo dual, u will see how they define their "Preorder Now".

U both have seen tipo & tipo dual @ Sony centre of Kolkata & Delhi as u said. U said they r there 4 sell, I also say in they r there 4 selling shortly after the official release, they r not selling these currently, they have stock now & will sell soon.
Can u say that they r selling tipo and tipo dual currently and a customer can buy this today, Sept 10?
These r stocks in sony centre and online retailers.
