hey guys I brought my Sony xperia p today which came with ginger bread out of the box.......but it is showing the message "new update available"......but when I tried to update with my packet data it is completed 100%.........but after that the downloading started again.......what should I do? please help..........please

Leonard, 20 Apr 2013My aluminum bar is having some kind of scratch and spot lin... moreWhat aluminium bar, there is no aluminium bar on Xperia P, only aluminium case, transparent plastic bar and plastic cap.
Scratches on aluminium cannot be removed because it is brushed, so it will always be visible difference between that, and the part you repaired (with sandpaper).

You have to go to System update section, and choose Update button. After you finish procedure You will get message that there is no firmware update available and you will get option to repair your installation.
Take care to backup all important data although everything stored on /sdcad/ will not be touched.
Also, don't forget to check Away bar, ICS is notorious to have Deep Sleep problem on some smartphones.

how increase the battery life, i brought Xperia P in last week, i have getting the battery life 6-8 hours (standby) only. without using internet or any other functions. only receiving & dialing calls (little use). please explain the fault or increase battery life (please see the add. I lyk this phn but after updating it to ics the camera is not taking pics on 8mp reso... the pics it take on 8mp consists of a half pic nd half dark region... can anybody hav suggestions wat shud I do in this case....

If you have problems with battery life, repair you Xperia P, or check 'Awake' bar in Power management, if it's constant blue with no gaps during stand-by period, some program is preventing your phone to go to Deep Sleep (CPU works on 200 MHz instead of being offline).

Guys im having this problem. When I connect my phone to my pc,sometimes it stucks.whrn try to copy a file windows says it cannot copy,or sometimes windows explorer(file explorer) has to be restarted! It happened with all the 3 PCs I used to copy files,from pc to phone! Can anyone suggest me a solution.im so worried,because it had no troubles till now!!!
And now it freezes more when playing a game!
