Tcool, 20 Mar 2013Ok let's say the remote control of my portable DVD player. LOL!I don't know what kind of DVD player you have, but majority of DVD remote controllers are far more longer, and narrower then Xperia P (which is quite understandable considering the way you are holding remote, compared to holding smartphone), and as I said, Xperia P is not too much long compared to other smartphones.

I prefer Xperia P usability to HTC One S (I am using both) because there is physical border between screen and soft keys, so accidental pressing is minimal. When I use HTC One S virtual keyboard I often press 'Home' key instead of space because they are to close with no tactile feedback.

Aspect ratio of Xperia P dimensions is about the same as majority of smartphones, and most of the TV remotes are far longer and narrower than any smartphone available.

The lower part is not intended for Xperia name to write on, down there are GSM/WiFi antennas (since Xperia P body is aluminium (hence doesn't allow EM radiation to go through), and it's still shorter and narrower then HTC One S for example (although it's a bit thicker).
