AnonD-68375, 30 Dec 2012In nutshell: - yes, Xperia P have built-in accelerometer... moreVery well said, Maxym. Further, with the recent update .554, battery life has improved a lot. Xp is th best mid range phone when it comes to overall experience. I havent seen any game that makes it lag, menu browsing is super smooth, even better than Note/S3. If any one thinks this is an exaggeration, put the two devices together and do a simple thing, just go to the application home screen where it lists all apps, and browse thru the screens by swiping and compare S3 and Xp response.

Lazy Boy, 30 Dec 2012Hey Guys ! I'm going to buy this phone .I like its featur... moreIn nutshell:

                  - yes, Xperia P have built-in accelerometer and support "motion gaming"

                  - the real question is: can you use your phone for 24 hours (you probably need some sleep)

P.S. You cannot compare battery capacity (rated in mAh) of different phones because you don't know how many mAh specific mobile use for some specific action.

In short, on Xperia P battery last roughly the same as any other smartphone in it's price range.

                        Hey Guys !
I'm going to buy this phone .I like its features very much .I like to know about "games support".....Does it support motion gaming ? But i,m very confused about the battery life of this phone .I saw "read opinions" & many said battery is not good .On what battery life depends on ? In specification it says it got standard battery ( Li-lon 1320 mAh) . I have also found Miro got ( Li-lon 1500mAh) Xperia J got (Li-lon 1750mAh ) .I use phone like...May be 2 hours of music and 2 hours of gaming and net browing . Can Xperia p BATTERY Last 24 Hours...24h That's all i need . So In a NUTSHELL my question is ....... # 1. GAME SUPPORT 2. ( MOST IMPORTANT ) BATTERY .
                        Plz give me correct information.....:-)

foxx, 29 Dec 2012when my phone dies fully, i charge it but it wont turn back... moreMaybe operating system got stuck in some loop, so try to reset it (press Power and Volume Up buttons simultaneously until you feel one vibration).

If that doesn't help try same procedure but hold buttons until you feel three vibrations (caution it will erase contents of your phone since it is actually Factory reset).

Also, let the phone charge all the way (until you see green light instead of orange in status LED).

If that doesn't help, it would probably need service.

Temporary solution is to use lower resolutions (bug appear only at 8 MP pictures), or to flash older version part of camera app using Flashtool following instructions on xda-developers forum.

I have alread... moreFirst install some 3rd party launcher (I recommend Nova launcher), and make it default (check the check box that appear when you press Home button). Then download new Xperia Home launcher, and uninstall older Xperia Home launcher (go to Settings -> Apps find Xperia Home, select Force stop and then Uninstall). After that find the *.apk of new Xperia Home and click on it and it should install just fine.
