Tasfique, 11 Dec 2012Did u come across any other bugs? Cause the camera bug can ... moreNo I didn't experience any other bug apart from camera (which occurs seldom) I don't use Xperia Facebook (some reported bugs with that too).
I can't root my phone because my bootloader is locked (telecom branded phone), so I can't 'solve' camera bug by putting some older firmware camera app code. The solution is to wait for Sony bug-fix, or some new exploit for rooting phone (like bin4ry had with this ADB security hole).

hi guys!! there was an update on my phone yesterday reg ICS, it upgraded to 6.1.1.B.1.54 after then my facebook doesnt work propely
whenever i try to update error: try to manually update, i tried removing and adding account, i tried uninstalling facebook updates and reinstalling them back, still didnt work
anyone facing same problem?? what can be done to fix it?

Hi all, got this phone as a gift from my girl friend few days back ;)
got with ics out of box :)
this is a cool looking mobile with superb finish and design. u can hold the phone easily
by first day of usage i thought tat the battery is very bad. but i have been using 3g and bluetooth switched on continuously at tat time. so 100 to 0% within 4.30 hours.
then i started using power toggle app and started using the phone, it gave me 18 hours backup with 4 hours internet, 2 hours of video.
the extended standby mode is awesome, when i woke up the next day morning the charge went down from 75% to 71%., not sure how other smart phone battery backup is.
plays HD video perfectly.
camera is good, the picture quality is awesome.
under the sunlight u can view every letters properly thanks to White magic technology
felt that inbuilt earphone is with less sound, but still clarity was good. front cam is good for video call. eventhough the resolution was low, i took a pic of me with my girlfriend and put it in the homescreen, the picture looks good.
no lagg so far. eventhough u will feel gaming a little bit clumsy in this phone compared to ios games.
1gb ram thats wonderful, i used to close most of the apps after usage, so i guess thats sufficient for most of us
wat else we need, jellybean is also announced, which is gonna make the phone more smooth and fast.
and one more thing, the phone was purchased in ebay IN for 15.5K with a diwali coupon. so its cheaper faster and best middle level phone

i've been using xperia p for abt a month.the one major problem um facing is the problm with notification tone...sometimes the phone only vibrates on receiving notification,no ringtone...but notification tone works after restart.is it because of a bug? wt should i do?

Hello Guys,Who want ot update this phone to ICS but u dont know how.Go to http://www.sonymobile.com/glob...fware/phone/ then click sofware, then click "ur phone" then click "Check for update" (But u must Get Java) Then something come up click "allow",then conect ur USB to PC or Laptop.Wait and click "update",Then wait and plug off ur USB From PC or Laptop.Ur phone will Power Off Shutting down,Wait and ur phone will restart,wait and something come up from ur phone then scrolled down the "click it",Then click "Download",then clik "ready for install" Then click "install" and "install",then ur phone will power off shutting down,ur phone will restart and "DONE"

chady, 11 Dec 2012can someone tell me how many times you charge your phone ba... moreI charge it before i go to my office every morning while fixing my things. I use it for music 6-hours, 3 hours internet and 3-4hours games. And its not fully drained. and its not fully drained. because is use it for as an alarm clock. And yes i play music and games inside my office. LOL

Anonymous, 11 Dec 2012although the camera of this phone is 8 mp, i think the 5 mp... moreno S-dous. Get the Xperia p. But if you want a samsung then you should go for S2 or S-advance. Not Dous. no no no. Desive X would even be a better choice.
