Guys, should I buy this phone? After hearing too many complaints about battery, I starting to take this as a deal breaker for this phone.
My uses are only 2g,no mobile data, few calls,light-moderate gaming and few texts and no wifi.

I don't seem to get a neoprene pouch for xperia p in Indian online stores.
So somebody please list some popular phones which has almost same physical size or dimensions as the Sony Xperia P???

I've noticed the bottom right side of the cap creaks a little bit. It was driving me nuts to the point that I don't want to touch my phone because the creaking bothers me. I used to do this on my older phones when the battery is a bit loose so might as well try this on the Xperia P.
I tore a little piece of tissue/paper (really small). Fold it a bit and placed it on the right side of the device (below where the cap clips). I inserted the cap back on and the creaking is gone. I'm not sure if the service center repairs this issue but this worked for me.

Removable cap, not that they supply other covers!, seems to come loose..even on new devices. The U does not have this issue sony!!! Buyer beware, apart from that battery is very poor too, not sure why? Runming ICS here factory install. Not impressed having to use sellotape to wedge plug in place.....rubbish!

Same procedure is needed aftery each factory reset and OS upgrade.

People who have issues after upgrade usually did upgrade without prior factory reset, and some remains from GB make troubles.
So if you factory reset Xperia P and do ICS update result is same as buying factory preinstalled ICS.

I heard some issues regarding Xperia P. The LED transparent bar is easy to have a crack so if you're going to use Xperia P make sure you won't ever drop it. Also, the color/paint of the cover peels off easily. My friend's Xperia P is Silver and the bottom plastic part's (below the LED transparent bar) paint finish is peeling off easily if scratched accidentally. :( it's really a good phone overall, just concerned about the durability of the phone

I have received on of these devices as a refurb, but the cap on the base of device is loose. Can't be bothered to return it. I have noticed thw cap seems physically larger than the phone. Has anyone else had such issue? Certainly, beware of this if you intend to purchase item.
