There is no doubt that SGSII is still better than most other smartphones of 2012. SGSII is the dream comes true. Exellent battery backup, any video playback, one of the best camera+camcorder, only 8.5mm slim, amazingly light weighted samsung galaxy s ii is better than xperia p.

I dont know why everybody complaining about battery life, everybody need energy even us, since i got the phone i can tell u that with medium usage(listening to music,sending file via bluetooth for 1hour =D,watching some videos,images, taking pictures,wifi for 30mn) the battery was on 21h and still 56% left, so i guess its depending on the usage and the settings everyone have. And really the only cons. for me its that it has micro sim. everything else is just as it should accordingly the price.

NEVER ever upgrade to ICS even if it lures you there.. I had a hard time downgrading from ICS to Gingerbread.
ICS for xperia P sucks. It will disable one of the illuminating bar keys and load camera everytime you unlock it.If anyone wants to revert back to GB use Flash Tool 0.9.8

is it true that in the other sites ,sony xperia p have HSDPA 21 Mbps and HSUPA 5.8 Mbps,, and anot only 14.4 mbps.?

Well just got this phone today and it looks and feels amazing in hand. Premium design and Sony's tweaks with interface are subtle yet classy.
5/5 on design..
Camera sucks big time at least in low light situations, it DOES have a yellowish tint when flash is on. Don't buy if you are looking for camera..
2/5 for camera(don't know about outside but aren't most pics taken in restaurants and houses)
Sound is good,not so loud but it has that Sony feel which i like 3.5/5
Haven't used much so can't say about battery life..
But as i said i bought it just for good design and am a medium user, happy with the product.
