Plz i need help!!!, WHAT SHUD I DO
i bought this phone today, i on it at first without putting sim card, so the phone automatically switch off itself after some minutes (so as to prevent drain of battery due to accidental switchin of the phone) so i on it again and it switch itself off after some time. now i tried switching on the phone but it won't, i put the sim card but it still won't switch on. i tried holdin power + volume rocker, i do hear vibrations bt d screen wont show, bt i do see a red light at d top phone & blue light too.
What should i do please???

why is xperia P becoming available less and less in UK, big stores dont carry it and even Amazon is running out of phones, phone seems great but can't seem to buy it. If I cant buy it, what should I go for instead, HTC ONE S or Moto RAZR? I

purchased xperia P last saturday ........awesome mobile having great picture quality and sound......hmmm battery must be better........but stand for whole day normal use....

it is an owsome Phone ....very good for the speed of the internet ... camera is the best the clarity is superb

resolution is better..
jelly beans is coming in a few months..
interface looks much better..
only lack is the screen size and a very minute slower processor thats it..

But this line is just in the player... If u play it in ur PC, u wont see any line... So this is an ICS glitch... ICS has alot of glitches that needs to b fixed by Sony in Jellybean release....

Poor manufacturing, within a day of purchasing SIM CARD lid got detached. Dealer not co-operating, nor replacing part, on the plea parts not available.
Therefore dont think to purchase.

Hi All,
Who all bought this set I am sorry for all (ICS). There is a manufacturing Glitch in the phone, the phone in Full HD recording mode plays recording with a green line on the bottom when you playback the video the green line is very prominent. it happens with all the xperia p I have checked, Out of Box it is happening, Sony Failed to maintain Quality, Very disappointed with Sony....

haze, 22 Oct 2012I'll buy a phone before this year end, and I can't decide b... moreIf you don't mind GB only phone go for Galaxy S Advance, but if ICS is a must (and possible JB upgrade) go for Xperia P, lack od SD card is not so important for normal use, and battery is quite good.

This device does not have hardwired decoders for several video formats. Battery is sealed and impossible to replace except service centre (Not sure if they will). Otherwise this device works well.

i used to be addicted to sony products but this one is messed up , i bought it in august used it 2 weeks then updatet it to 4.0.4 ics and everything went wrong my wifi wouldnt work at all my plastic cap started fallin and the screen started having yellowish tints , the touchscreen wouldnt work right , and it would get hung if i would get a call , so i sent it to sony service center in el paso texas , and its been a month and have not heard a thing from them , im really upset from sony this is not fine at all

very nice phone. like it. good performance with dual core and ofcourse huge internal memory. recommended.
