Em getting Xperia P 2morow in black.... i wish it was available in white, then it wud have been comparatively morreeeeee sexxxyyyy... however its available in silver, but its not as hot as white wud have been...

AnonD-57252, 18 Sep 2012can anyone plz help e about the battery life of normal usag... moreThere is no ICS - GB battery life comparison, but from my expirience I can tell you that You will get 1 - 2 days of normal usage (calls, SMS, browsing, 2D games) with ICS, while on GB You need some Battery Saving program installed to achive same result.

Rpk, 18 Sep 2012what does 'force 2d accelerate' does in the developer optio... moreDepending on the 2D drawing implementation of the specific application, it can accelerate 2D drawing (make it run smoother) or it can make it choppy, slower or incorrectly drawing things.

Anyway, all this talk is purely philosophic, as until the ICS came, GPU was utilised only in specific games, and OS made no use of it. With ICS things changed and now GPU-s are used for 2D acceleration as well.

Vishal, 18 Sep 2012try playing NOVA3 on SG S2 and XP. Xp plays it far smoother. That's just what I was talking about, GPU type, number of cores, or benchmark tesults doesn't tell you anything about real life results of specific smartphone. Xperia P runs 3D games smooth although it doesn't have the fastest CPU and GPU combo (by pure specifications) on the market.

tiju a joseph, 17 Sep 2012i purchase xperia p before two two days, i have a better ex... moreI also had that horrible experience after updating to ics 4.0.4 but I tried to turned off my phone then turned it on again after waiting almost 4hours then its done.. from 2.3.7 to 4.0.4 the upgrade was sucessfull.. I checked the automatic update software then turned off the phone then turned it on again and it just automatically downloaded the latest version.. no need to use the laptop..

How is the battery life with 3G/2G on? hesitating to buy the phone because of tha 1305mAh battery and the fact that you can't replace the battery.
