battery life too weak after the ics update. i dont know if my phone has fabrication errors.. if not sony should prepare an immediate update. not to lose any customers if they want to become a player in the mobile market..

My fiance's using the same phone and we really never had any problem with that plastic cap.. its fixed! I don't think there have been any built defect there.. unless you remove it and put it back like ppl play with their click pen.. for amusement.. maybe.. never tried that though..
For someone complaining about phone not responding.. If it is hanged.. To force a restart of you phone
Press and hold both the volume up key and the power
key for five seconds.
After your phone vibrates once, release the keys. The phone restarts automatically.
And my phone color's black..

Everyone hear are still using gingerbread.Once you update to ICS the real problem starts.Huge battery drain,Notification bug,Live wallpaper lag,etc.So if you are still using gingerbread don't update.

ALHUMDULILLAH some days ago i just bought this phone n trust me this is Awesome phone i'hv evr used. it's super fast no lagging or something lyk that. i ♥ my Xperia P very much. new UI is Awesome it's beat anyother brands UI.

:-)
If you have unlocked bootloader you might install custom JB firmware (if there is one) but then some of the Xperia features might not work.
