maxx, 20 Aug 2012hi can u pls tel me abt videos and games usage and hours f... moreyesterday I updated my phone with some videos and downloaded games like asphalt 7, temple run and it worked perfectly fine, the battery didn't drain completely, I did kept my extended held timeout on. after ics update its much better

Samsung Galaxy Sii with Ice Cream Sandwitch has better results in benchmarks and especially in Browser Mark.
How about Sony Xperia P?I am confused between Samsung Sii and Sony Xperia P.I have both seen hands on.I knew about pros and cons for these phones...Sii is a monster Sony P is a beauty...

Hello,
I want to update ICS in Xperia P (in India). So please tell me how to do it. When I am connecting my phone to PC companion and then when I start updating software then while Preparation itself I am getting and Sony Update engine failure(Error 1200) and server overloading problem.
Please help me ASAP

I have downloaded plenty of apps but now i found that it has obtain almost 1GB space of phone memory how should i transfer them in internal storage?How they are automatically stored to phone memory instead of internal storage?

How to enable internet connection while ... moreHi, it is simple, go to settings --> wireless and networks --> Mobile Networks --> check DATA ROAMING
This will allow you to use internet when u r roaming

Guess What? i got my new Sony Xperia P yesterday, the sony retailer also did the ICS 4.0.4 update on my phone, its from Brigade Road, Banglore, India
I have been using this phone for the past one day and i got one thing to say AWESOME!!!
I am an little bit above average user, i use GPRS a lot on my phone, i did charge my phone only once and the battery life is quite acceptable, i have to charge it again after 24 hours, i think Xperia users should also update their android to ICS via PC companion, the update u need to run is 6.1.B.0.544.
If you try to check through upgrade centre, u will not see it, connect ur phone to your computer and PC companion will automatically prompt you to update the firmware.
Coming to ICS, thanks to sony as they have incorporated few SONY ELEMENTS in ICS update, to have a longer battery life go to settings --> Power Management --> Enable Extended Standby Mode, you will also get the icon on the notification bar
In the first 15 mins i felt my mobile is hot, but once u turn off the phone for 5 mins then turn on, it is fine, the ICS update also includes
> Opening Camera App from the screen lock menu, app opens in 2 secs
> Walkman feature added with visualisations, indepth Bass and voice clarity
> Separate video player called Films is added
> By pressing the home button for 3 secs, now u get the option of closing the apps, just swipe them to the left hand side and app is closed.
> Integrated maps with accurate location
> Fast and easy UI, much more, still more to work on
Sony Retailer also told me that if you have updated any of your previous apps/widgets and they slowed down after update, they will be fixed automatically with ICS update
anyone who wants to buy xperia P should go right ahead and buy it, i am sure u will never regret

How to enable internet connection while raoming in Xperia P
I have aircel prepaid connection and I am unable to connect net as soon as I have moved in to roaming also not able to make calls(although i am able to recieve calls and send/recieve msgs)
any thing in settings that needs to be checked ... please suggest
