Guys Don't think Just Buy It.U will Never Regret.
The Sony Xperia P is nice phone.I am using this phone from past 1week n i think this is the one of the best phone in 20k range.You have got everything hd display,nice sound,nice screen,sufficient amount of memory(13 GB usable),ram & processor speed is also good.
There is one thing i can find battery problem not so much but a little bit.20hrs it give backup while i am using fr receiving and calling call n text,music player, WiFi is on ,browsing,gaming,something doing on phone that take amount power for LCD.
1 thing is lagging is i think there is no 3g to 3g video calling in this mobile as if it has got Front camera.
I have tried and got very nice exp when i am having a video call/chat through Gtalk (third party software support only) in a WiFi network.Really awesome.
I will give this phone 8.5 out of 10.Go For It.

AnonD-65545, 17 Aug 2012I haven't bought it yet..im still saving for it..maybe this... moreI really want to buy this phone and i have already the money for it, however Sony will have the IFA at Aug 29 and will unveil their new phones there.. im still having the dilemma.. because xperia S has a lot of problems in ICS i think xperia P will suffer the same fate also considering the history of how sony updates their devices..

i didn't knew that there was something like that..
i thought samsung has the only notification slide with controls for bluetooth, wifi and etc..

I think I could easily adjust to that issue caus... moreI would suggest that you disable auto brightness as it automatically changes the brightness between 50-100% depending on the surrounding light.
But, you won't need even 50% brightness as the screen is very bright. You should keep the brightness fixed at around 30-40% which is more than enough.
You can always change the brightness from anywhere if you install notification toggles. Check it out

Basically, it adds all your most used settings like wifi on/off, bluetooth on/off, sound and brightness to your notification screen so you can change the brightness easily...

does this have photo light or LED Flash coz i own a xperia ray and the Photo light is annoying,you have to turn it on/off manually. it hurs the eyes of the persons when i take a photo of them at night.

I have been using this phone from couple of weeks, Sony has built an awesome phone. At the beginning there was a problem associated with the network, but after the update, the phone runs perfectly. The one and only drawback is the battery, battery is so poor if u play any game at your free time, the battery don't last a day. I hope Sony will make some improvement at their batteries. Overall Xperia P is the best!

I think I could easily adjust to that issue cause im used to bravia engine of sony and I don't often see amoled displays cause mid range to high range nokia or samsung phones are not popular or a few only have them here in the philippines..
should I set the brightness to auto??

Earphone sound is not as good as my old Nokia N73 .Why is it so? I have kept all the equaliser settings at maximum still can't beat my old Nokia N73.

this phone xperia P is a lovely phone ... the camera is awsome ... i think the this is the best phone ive got from 3 UK....... i would suggest everyone in UK to get this wonderful phone ...

Its not exactly yellow...its just that the screen has warmer colors...So, the whites are a little yellowish. So, if you are upgrading from a phone which has an AMOLED display, you will notice a huge difference as AMOLED displays have a bluish tinge and so Xperia P's screen may appear very yellowish which is not a fact. If you are upgrading from a phone which has neutral color tone like Arc, you wont notice much of a difference...The benifit of having a warmer color tone is that all colors appear vivid and lively...
