Its 1 month today that i've been using this mobile, and i hv only 1 thing to say
"Underpowered Monster"
At this price range, it is way ahead than any other mobile, in terms of features and quality.
But it all comes down to zero if battery is taken into account. Just while typing this, my battery
level dropped by 4 ( i hv a bettery widget which tells me the level)
I am a heavy traveller, so this mobile is definately not for any traveller or multitasker, as the battery won't last long.
I feel sorry for Sony, who despite making such a good phone, cant put a decent battery to haul this monster.

I am planing to buy Xperia P by the End of A... moreDONT buy it till Android 4.04 update is out and see if the problems with 2.3.7 software are corrected.
i m an owner of Xperia P running .164 firmware. The only disadvantage (but MAJOR ONE) is the battery life WHICH (by my opinion) is software's fault.
I hope that ICS will be better programmed and "tailored" for Xperia P than GB .

Hi, i am a hearing handicapped. I want to know that Sony Ericsson Xperia P mobile is working for video chatting through skype, oovoo, fring and tango also? because i am deaf that's why. I can't make voice call. I can talk with sign language through video only. I am waiting for your response.

I have this phone from a week ago & It is very nice But i have problem when I open facebook sometimes it doesn't work & i have to restart the mobile
so i want to know if it is problem in the mobile or facebook ? thank u

My old phone is a Samsung Wave 2 with new Bada 2.0 o/s. I still have it and I'm always comparing the two.
I really wanted the Sony but now I have it, actually I prefer my old phone. Okay, it's subjective... but I think it was much better made and responsive. Battery lasted longer.

umm talk time.. almost bottom. web browsing.. almost bottom. video playback.. almost bottom. and with a price almost the same with galaxy s2 at the moment. what does this do better? good looks? camera? screen which you will show off to nobodies you come across then forget about you in a second? i love sony but they're putting together pieces of junk making it an art but at the end of the day it still is junk with price not compensating for the specs and sealed battery and no sd card.. seems like they're following apple now.. gaah. hope they wake up!

Suck SONY next time add good battery along with great features.

i bought this phone last week (25/7/2012) . i'll share the advantages and disadvantages of this phone from my point of view . first advantages - this is really an amazing phone with superb camera quality , video coverage is in HD . awesome 3d pictures , there r some cool options in camera that is 3dpanaroma , 3d multi angle panarome , sweep panaroma, these 3d multi angle panaroma is stunning that i haven't seen in any other phones , front vga camera is also pretty good. stunning speed of internet browsing and downloading .touch is very much sensitive , when i compared with iphone 3gs this phone's touch is too much better. cool transparent touch for Back , Home and multitasking button. now disadvantages- this phone really sucks in battery , i am a hardcore user of this phone so i need to charge this phone for thrice a day , hardly 5 hours only this battery is withstanding. loudspeaker is having very low sound effect, wen brightness is tuned to full there are some yellow tones in the screen, but wen its seen under bright sunlight its not an issue at all. these are the only issues in the phone . other means this phone is perfect for camera ,videos , internet browsing and downloading , music (only with an headphone its nice), etc.. if there is any other option to change the inbuilt battery for an battery that can give backup for atleat 8 to 9 hours means this is the perfect phone by sony.
