AnonD-204493, 09 Nov 2013guyz i have android 4.0.4 in my xperia p i have an upgrade ... moreMaybe your phone memory is full.
Try downloading update on your PC (with PC Companion or Sony Update Service) and do the update with PC (this way there is no need to use your phone memory for holding installation file with new firmware).

Bappy, 08 Nov 2013Hey maxym i got my xperia p 6months ago. How can i make bat... moreWhat do you mean by 'battery stand by of 7 hours'?!
When I use my phone regularly, I get 16-18 hours of total battery life (active usage + stand by time).
Since lately I mostly use my business phone, so my Xperia P is used only for calls&SMS, wake-up alarm and occasional WiFi surfing, and it's battery lasts almost 3 days (63 hours to be exact).
I'm not sure what are you doing to your Xperia to have such short stand-by time, might be faulty battery, incorrect battery calibration, or you might have active all communication ports (WiFi, BT, HSDPA, and bunch of programs in background).
First, turn off all unnecessary communication, if you are in WiFi area, you don't need 3G or EDGE, turn it off, turn off even WiFi if you are not going to use it for some time, also turn off NFC.
Uninstall all unnecessary programs (anti-virus, task-manager, battery-saver) or any other program that you have installed but not using often, or at all.
I'm quite sure you can get 16 hours battery time usage.

Best phone i ever had as long as you don´t upgrade it to JB, which has lots of bugs...Luckly i was able to flash it back to ICS, and then root it....Great perfomer.
Now i own it´s younger sibling the SP, which is also good in it´s own right. Still the whitemagic screen.. Makes me miss it even more..

Since, xp has only 2gig phone memory, with 700mb for android os and ui etc etc.. there is only around 1.2 gig phone memory left, and 11gig for internal memory. Asphalt 8 is like 1.4gig, will it be downloaded directly to the internal memory?

Ram, 05 Nov 2013Can we revert back OS to the old version!
Now i am using... moreYou can 'downgrade' to any previous version of Android, as long as you have proper *.ftf file (firmware in flashable format).
The process is quite easy to perform, even for newbies, you just have to follow the procedure step-by-step.
Yo can find all the informations on xda-developers pages in Xperia P section, just search for Flashtool).

AnonD-203776, 06 Nov 2013The Jellybean update is not entirely perfect.
* The fron... moreThe bugs you explained are probably not the because of buggy firmware (otherwise it would be too buggy to release) but rather from problematic update procedure.
Since JB was release with one release for multiple previous regions, it's also likely that these bugs are not related to various firmware versions.
I propose to you to perform Repair of Xperia P through PCC or SUS (I have already posted detail procedure multiple times here), and perform couple full charge-discharge cycles, and that will solve your problems.

The Jellybean update is not entirely perfect.
* The front facing camera now freezes too often to be useable
* When a call comes in the vibration and ring tone sometimes continue over the call itself
* Battery level % rises and falls dramatically, sometimes shutting down the phone when over 15% full
* When switching on WiFi it frequently restarts
