AnonD-10027, 29 May 2012so many comments for the battery of xperia p...don't worry ... moreAgree with you. I've been using it for 4 days already since I bought it and for me, the battery life is not bad at all. The time taken for a full charge from under 5% battery life to 100% is fast too. It is a good phone but I wish I can have more storage space in it. It is still enough for me now but I'm not sure whether will it be sufficient for me in the future.

Im using a samsung galaxy 2...firstly it has a bigger screen so it gives a better hold and feels nice to use(girls notice the difference more). The super amoled screen is something unbeatable as i have not yet seen a phone which has an equally bright display, it has a card slot too. The downside of S2 is that firstly, its a year old, still more expensive, the battery drains too fast, and im guessing that the sony people must have provided with a better camera than samsung but both are 8mp, though the secondary cam in S2 is 2 mp.

All the new phones they are launching have SD card: Sola, Ion, Go, Acro, GX, SX,... Why some genius in the marketing departement decided not for this one ? Could win so many more buyers. Obviously they now have realized they made a mistake with phones without SD cards...I prefer to wait for an XperiaP-like with SD card, quite soon i guess if you look at the rate Sony is launching new phones now.

Now that the phone has been released, I think it's better to rely on the opinions of the users instead of gsmarena. And so far, people seem to be happy about it. Battery seems to get through a day and a half. Anything over a day is great on an android phone. So people who have bought the phone, please post your reviews here.

Was not sure between GS2 getting cheaper and Xperia P.
But found out that GS2 has problem recording in low light, whereas the Exmor sensor is supposed to excel in low light.
So i am definitely buying Xperia P, when available...

another review pops up !this time from Know Your Mobile! http://www.knowyourmobile.com/sonyericsson/sonyxperiap/xperiapreviews/1399348/sony_xperia_p_review.html ! itz time for GSM Arena to wake up and review this beauty as soon as possible ! And for the battery issue all guys seem to be talking about it just seems to be a bit overstated ! the novathor processor is d most power efficient processor in the market at the moment (dont knw how the intel medfield chip is )and all the reviews have stated that the battery lasted about a day and half in moderate use! datz no way a bad deal looking at d small size of itz battery!many phones do not last dat long even with a bigger battery ! coming to the power of the novathor chipset it is nt one with the greatest raw power ! well if u r the one only looking for some raw power u should definately go for the htc one s or even s2(though it seems to be getting a bit outdated with the launch of s3 and one x)!but still if u r nt a real hard core android gamer it can smooth itz way easily through all the other apps !itz a matter of personal choice and i guess sony xperia p ticks in all the right notes for my needs ! just itching to get my hands on it !

Phone last a little more than 2 days if you don't use it and turn off wifi, bluetooth etc. but moderate use such as few calls, text and occasional internet browsing it can last a day at most. if you play games a lot or keep the screen turned on most of the time, the battery drops fast and last only 6 to 8 hrs (brightness at 75%). this is my only gripe about this phone.

so many comments for the battery of xperia p...don't worry its a great battery on the phone....heavy usage will make it last for 14-16 hours. With moderate usage it is good for 2.5-3days...does that suffice all.
i hope that puts all questions to rest regarding battery life.

It should have a higher capacity battery, at least 1700mAh. Or the battery should have been removeable.
