I happened to come across a red colored Xperia P and I must say I'm pretty much impressed with it. The phone has a rich feel and is more stylish(especially the red colored one) than Xperia S. Feature wise too, it gives a decent competition to Xperia S. I hope the price tag is around INR 20,000 so that I can own one.

dont worry about the battery... xperia p display consumes 50% less energy than other phone displays ( Sony WhiteMagic technology ) GREAT PHONE BY SONY !

theNovaThor processor consumes less battery compared to snapdragon etc. and this device carries with it white magic tech so battery is most likely to last longer. however, we still have to see and test these theories.

Nice styling, good size, decent specs unfortunately let down by pathetic 1305maH battery. Don't know what Sony were thinking of, this is a major flaw. Was going to buy Xperia P until saw battery life now going to wait for HTC One S.

Looks nice, i wish there were not so much wasted space around the screen, and more memory too because how silly is it not to include a memory card ?
But i want to try the 8 MP Exmor camera, so will surely buy it, fed up with my Samsung Wave1

Arc S is single core compared to XS-P which are bot... morehey d comaprison doesnt matter! i guess u lack d sense of understanding wat benchmark is! if u had brains u could easily find out how xperia p compares with other dual cores on d block rather dan crying like a baby dat d phones r nt comparable!and for ur justification i have just written d results of the test i have seen on youtube!and d guy has pitted it with the xperia arc s since it was their flagship phone till recently !!

jm, 13 Mar 2012no all my phones are Sony Ericsson and all of them are not ... moreI feel battery on my SE U1i Satio getting pretty hot when charging or performing power-consuming tasks, but it's not getting awfully hot. The manual says it's a normal state.

hey guys hav some latest news abt sony xperia p ! the results of the benchmark test of sony xperia p is out thanks to a guy named arammcfly on youtube ! he has pitted xperia p with xperia arc s and guess wat xperia p is d clear winner !the total quadrant score of xperia p is 2379 compared to 1382 of the xperia arc s !!! whereas antutu test shows xperia p with a grand total of 5338 compared to 3615 of xperia arc s !however the vellamo test surprisingly shows xperia arc s having a higher rating than xperia p by some 150 points !! but i guess it might be some error and anyway i believe d quadrant much more dan any other test!chuck d vellamo out of d picture and u get d clear winner d xperia p!
