Xperia P - for 'pointless'?
No external memory card slot and a maximum of 16gb internal storage (which in reality is about 12gb once you've done the gb translation and installed software...
Xperia S - for 'second-rate'?
Not Sony-bashing here (I want one - bored of Sammy!) but this sudden resistance to put external memory cards in - and of course have specs too similar to last year's models... is a bit worrying...
Let's hope Hayabusa and Mint aren't tablets or the Ion... and we have a couple of big hitters at MWC for Sony...

I'm liking how the phone and the spec's are quite good for a mid range phone. However I think the battery is a slight let down. I understand the chip makes the phone allot more efficient but wouldn't it be better to give it more than average battery so it has long talk time to give it the edge over other phones.

I think the picture is not right. It is from the MT27 Pepper and is ugly. The LT22 Nypon looks like the Arc, and is much more beautiful.
