During normal use (web browsing on WiFi, playing non-intensive 2D game) your Xperia P shouldn't overheat, but if You are playing some 3D intensive game, it usually heats up to the point where is a little uncomfortable to put it on your ear (if you get incoming call during game, or right after.
If your phone heats up to the point where is uncomfortable to hold phone in your hands, during normal use, then it might indicate some problem with battery or power circuits (heat is generated by battery if the power drain is excessive, or if battery is malfunctioning), and onliest solution is to bring your Xperia P to Service center.

I'guess some of new Xperias like Z1/Z Ultra with Triluminos display technology looks even better then Xperia P WhiteMagic, but these modeles are far more expensive.

Not at all a good mobile.
Features of the mobile is very good. But, if internet is on, we cannot use any of the features, since battery of the phone doesnt stay more than 2 hours. If we are on call, then it doesnt stay more than 4 hours. Reason is battery is only 1305mAH
It is also very slow.
The price of the mobile is very high and of no use in spite of good features in it. We can use the features if battery can stay for longer time.
Please do not go for this or xperia z. I have lost faith in Sony mobile brand.

hello guys I have used this mobile for along time all what can I say it is amazing one thanks to white magic. technology. I didnt see any phone tell now has this feature. the brightness. of this brand cant be compared. to any other mobile therfore if I wanna buy another phone cane any one tell mee. which. one can I pick. has a good display like Xperia p pls help meeeeeeeeeeee

Battery performance is very poor,when i browse internet, in my phone it consume huge charge.otherwise this is awesome

MY Xperia P regularly switch off after i insert my sim!
the phone doesnt restart
But if i switch on the phone without inserting sim,the phone works fine

and wouldn't turn on
but if i switch on with out inserting a sim it will never show any problem

i am using this device . very good device battery is very low and camera result is not too much good as compared to galaxy s2, htc amaze 4g,q mobile noir a10 the picture siz is between 1mb to 4 mb but vedio quality is awesome all the hd games are working 1 thing u must care your mobile because it,s sides and body both are very sensitive execpt it,s screen .
