I drought this phone couple of week ago and it is funtion very well indeed. The dual core processer is supporting all the applications, more faster than ever. The 8 MP camara is great good quality pictures and pixel dencity was great. This is one of the greatest phone that I ever had in this price. The battery was good if we manage to save power a battery manager is needed. This phone is great. Buy this phone. Blue Cat.

evan jamal , 29 Aug 2013how can I use the ph as a 3g modem? pl give ans... I'am not sure if you can use it as modem (with USB cable connection) but you can use it as WiFi hot-spot (Settings -> Wireless&Networks -> More -> Tethering) for other devices.

AnonD-92902, 28 Aug 2013Something is leaking from my xp illumination bar......pleas... moreIt's not leaking, its common problem with transparent bar. It's made of two plastic pieces with some adhesive compounds in between, and after some time those two pieces separates.
It's servicable for free under warranty.

Hi! I used to have a battery problem on this phone but I managed to get it better. I love the how the battery works now! Here are some tricks you might wanna consider: Task killers are no good. Do not use it! Also, do not use weather widget. Turn off wifi when not in use. Do not use Timescape widget too. Disable Maps and the Facebook extras.
One more trick I just discovered recently if you are using Jelly Bean. Go to Developer Options, look for Animations, there are three of them there. Turn off the three animation options. You'll get better battery and phone feels smoother as it doesn't have to do the animations anymore. Animations make it slow. Right now I still have 50% on my battery and I am using the phone for 16 hours and 8 minutes.

Sony Xperia P does everything it is asked for. I had a problem displaying the photos in the album app but aftering settings>>Apps>>Album>>clear cache... all is well.
It is definitely far better the Galaxy SII and very close to Galaxy SIII.
The phone is fluid, stable and has a better display than most Samsungs.
Sony stays close to the Pure Android experience(Nexus) by only tweaking a few things in the Android UI or UX.
Most definitely value for money, get this phone without hesitation.
My Sony Xperia P fell in water and after drying it in an air tight container for 5 weeks, it completely revived. It had been under water for close to 20mins and it isn't water proof.
Very solid phone and not plasticky like Samsung builds. My only issue is they could do better with the plastic bottom. its the weakest part of the phone.
Timescape works as expected, not sure if it is useful at all.
Sony smart connect is a very elegant feature, automatically putting your phone on vibrate mode or doing other things you need or assign it.
Hope this helps somebody out there because people write about phones they don't own or understand. USER BEWARE :D
