I have a persistent problem on Updating its software to the latest android version
Mine is Xperia P Model number LT22i,Android version 4.0.4, Build number 6.1.1.B.1.54.
The problem is it cant update to 6.2.A.1.100 even after i have followed and completed all the steps including downloading a whole 398 MB sized file. How do i do?

If I will bye this phone today (new).....then it is on ICS or JB.....I think ICS is better for this phone......can I bye this phone with ICS version.

this phone is good and its features is awesum and size is same as iphone 5 and if sony xperia could give a nice battery backup, expandable memory and jelly bean operating system then this phone will rock downnn the samsung smartphones

But the Greatest Disadvantage is Battery life. Its got very poor life. Frankly with 3G u may get 5hrs top and with 2G lil more than that. If net is turned off then gud 12-15hrs. that's how it is. So i prefer if u find a phone which has a better battery life but neglecting that its a really good phone.

Ibrahim, 06 Aug 2013I bought Xperia P 3 days before & any comments i got ab... moreThere is no problem with the upgrade on sony Xperia P, i had no issue after my upgrade, except for the general battery runtime which runs out pretty fast and has good standby battery life. I strongly recommend you upgrade to 4.1.2 jellybean, some apps that worked on your previous OS may however have problems so try and update the apps too.

if u wannna buy new phone never buy it from TELESCIENCE
Cellular Dehiwala & wellawatte.they sell poor quality phones.they are cheating to buyers.My personal experiance i bought Xperia P from them.it had lot of problems.so i returned my phone.they said they want to check wat is exact problem.in that time i had not put my sim into the phone.I asked new phone.they said cant do that. 2days later i got the same phone repaired by them.but it seemed used appear.I wasted my money.So DONT BUY ANY PHONE FROM Telescience Celluler - Wellawatta & Dehiwala.there service also very bad.
