shaiku, 13 Jul 2013hi rahul can you tell me what is SUS, so that others can us... moreShaiku,

SUS is short for Sony Update Service. It is official Sony program for firmware update and you can find it on Sony pages. If you can't find it just Google for it.

There are no special instructions and everything is straightforward, just start the program and follow on screen instructions.

Choose clean install (that means your internal memory will be erased, so do backup all important data before and sync all services) and when finished use your phone until battery drained, then charge for at least 3-4 Houra, u se again to 5%, and charge to 100%.

You can downgrade to earlier versions of firmware with Flashtool from xda-developers forum but you need to be sure what are you doing.

Anyway, there is no need to downgrade because JellyBean is fine (at least for me, and many other users who don't complain). You just need to install firmware properly, repair installation if needed and follow the procedure for battery charging.

            P.S. I am not rahul. :-)

rahul, 12 Jul 2013After updation JB my Xperia p is most waste phone ever used... moreRepair your phone with SUS, and your problems will vanish. Your cannot blame your phone, or Sony for problems specific to your phone, and usage pattern.

Battery is as good as it can be, and gives you full day of normal usage or three full days of scarce usage and WiFi off when not used.

has anybody experienced their Xperia P's phone app to "almost always crash" when you guys answer calls?

My Xperia P is having this issue that whenever I answer a call, my phone would hang and would just keep on vibrating, then a notification would pop up on my screen saying that my "phone app" has stopped working and it would offer me to either wait or end the task (which is answering the call). Today, 3 out of the 4 calls I received today I wasnt able to answer because of that error. Can somebody please tell me what to do to fix this problem... because a cellphone is not a cellphone if I cant take calls... also I'm was thinking of getting an Xpera SP in November but I think with this kind of Sony performance, I think I'd go with a Nexus 4 or an Optimus F7 instead. :( really disappointed.

If you are not satisfied with JB or having problems, try factory reset and repair JB installation through SUS.
