I don't know exactly what are the differences between 'world' and 'zone' versions, but I noticed that 'world' version was introduced with first JB update, probably because it was long delay for previous major update (from GB to ICS), so they made world version that could be used to update worldwide at the same time.

After i updated my xperia p to jelly bean
my phones album doen't shows any picture
but the sense me slide show is working good
is this a bug problem?
do i want to reset my phone

Why p's JB is full of bugs?"to Sony"they cant be famous by doing such things.Samsung became famous because of his after purchase services.P is their best selling phone why they don't update it?or fix the bugs?first I recommended sony to all of my friends but now I stop'em from buying Sony

just updated my xperia p in 6.2.a.0.400 ..ang everything works fine.. fix all the bugs ..like in the camera the flash in 8mp is now working fine .. unlike when im using ics.

which is new version? the 6.2.a.0.400 or 6.2.a.1.100?

upgraded to newest jb update now my stand by time is only 5 hours and location based wi-fi ain't working. Is it possible to do a rollback? what can be done about this?

Just updated mine to 6.2.a.1.100, No major changes but I must say it is so much smoother now. Go try it too.

I thought that I could flash my phone yesterday. but it was not successful. i tried to download the ftf file (557.1mb),but when downloading, the connection broken for few times. but I down'ed through an internet download manager and even the file could resumed after a connection lost. but the file which I got is not a single file (a ftf) after decompression! (those files I got should be the files showed in the firmware content box which, flasher shows after choosing the ftf fo be flashed).so I thought it's because of the connection wasn't steady...
And I like to know what is the difference of world and other JB versions!
However my first flashing experience was a disaster, but I won't even think about flashing if you helped me out! thanksa lot maxym

I'm now engaged to flash my SXP,and I went... moreYou can flash 6.2.A.1.100 (newest firmware) without problems, and yes, it's huge (cca. 600 MB), just don't forget to update drivers (from .exe in folder where you installed Flashtool).
And I'am no mr. just maxym.

Ive been using that application since my previous samsung and Xperia phones. I can say its efficient and easy to use. Its free on google. No harm trying.

Hey mr.maxym,
I'm now engaged to flash my SXP,and I went to XDA forum and downloaded the flash tool.But what confuses me is the size or the ftf,it's more than 500mb.is it the normal size of a JB ftf?
my current build number is 6.1.1.b.1.54 can you suggest me what kind of of a build number should I try out.. e.g. 6.2.A.0.400/6.2.A.1.100

Finally got an update to my xperia P.The build number is 6.2.A.1.100.
No problems whatsoever, no bugs nothing. Works brilliantly.

my phone has been lagging for almost 7 sec when i pick a call or it continues to ring for the said amount of time after hitting receive.What's up with that?
i am downloading the new update for jb....it just might solve that.
