things are hard to buy. Thanks for your help with choosing the right set and that OMTP/CTIA thing. i'ma kind of base loving, I was watching sony's xb60ex and xb30ex. they are not cheap too! seems that a base love needs something than a piggy bank!
also I found some sellers from other countries ships the 300ap headphones worldwide, while india ships locally(and that's confusing). but the problem is can bulk packages trusted!.. aaaah, it blows my mind when I messing up with headphones.. I think I should wait sometime and think about them when I have a good budget for buy one. thanks for your advises!

If you want an upgrade to mh750 then search for 'sony mdr ex300ap' on ebay.in. This headphone comes with xperia z. Compatible with P. 890Rs

But Sony phones are based on CTIA standards.. These make sense only if the headphone has mic. Those without mic will work anywhere... BOSE ie2 has no mic so is compatible with both Sony and older Ericsson phones.
Sound wise, BOSE has absolutely no isolation. So volume is less. Bass has impact but lacks the extension. Otherwise it has a very very good sound signature. Might not suit you. Definitely won't suit bass heavy songs (compared to mh750) but it's stereo separation, balance etc is awesome. It's best part is its comfort... It's out of the world. Feels nothing in the ear. Absolutely comfortable and can be worn whole day. No fatigue or suffocation whatsoever....

I was about to buy a sony xb series headphone. but I heard that sony has different 3.5 jack(OMTA) and confused about buying it. si now it seems that there are no troubles with the jack!

Finally got my BOSE IE2.
For 2.5k (Mrp 5500Rs), it's probably the best when it comes to sheer comfort and relaxing sound signature. The first thing that came to my mind was it's stereo separation. Not being a inear design, and the sound doesn't seem to play inside my head rather far behind. Needs a lil bit of eq adjustment to get the best impact out of it. Sound signature is on the warm side. Isolation is a absolute zero (love it), ears breath as it would without the headphone attached (totally non existent fit), cable is very smooth (expensive feel), design is unique (love the black n white texture), volume is two steps lower than isolating iems for obvious reasons. Best thing I found is no matter how I insert it, the fit is always the same and sound is uniform unlike other inear where even a slight looseness fully erase the bass.
It's genuine. Code accepted by BOSE global website. Y splitter too has a unique code. No regret whatsoever. Love it!!!!

The hangs phone, i have this but i quit using it and bought a new phone, now its stock on my cabinet. It always hang and a slow dual core, no match for the low end xperia of 2013. Also L9 is much better. In kuwait s3 and this are priced not too much difference. So rather choose the s3.

deceptor, 25 May 2013to all those who are complaining that u didnt get JB, chang... moreFlashtool manual firmware update is way more easier then changing SI because usually You need to have root access for that, and that means you need to downgrade JB to ICS (with Flashtool) for bin4ry's method, or unlock bootloader and flash pre-rooted firmware.
