Yes, I am having exactly the same issue with Sony Xperia PRO-I. I have tried several solutions after reading Sony and Android forum comments over the past few months but nothing has worked so far. I have had a couple of other (mild) software glitches with this phone as well.

Hi, I don't know if anyone can help.. My Xperia pro-i keeps having alarm on and there is no way to turn it off 🥴
Anyone facing the same issue?
I have that alarm sign on the top but no alarm is set.. I can see the time set when screen is off.
Tried reseting but same thing.. Any ideas?

Any news on when the next revision of this phone is coming? Debating between the Xperia 1 IV and the next Pro I... (or Pro II?)

Given the price point of this phone
this phone should have been better
i think sony should have focus other specs not just the main camera
why selfie camera not gotten any better it should be a flagship camera its self also
The storage and ram are a real joke at 1800 pound
not even just 1tb of storage only 12gb ram
i think should of had
2tb of storage tell me this can't fit in this price tag
18gb ram
flagship processor great but should have better cooling
This phone clearly is for the rich who don't understand value for money or understand what makes a smartphone the best
I know it is a camera phone but come on hardware should be better given the price tag

too bad sony keeps targeting the high end and ultra specific enthusiast market instead of focusing on the more mainstream market.

price too value of this smartphone so bad
For the money there asking for you can buy a better overall smartphone with better specs
like a gaming phone

do you use a case? does the case cover majority of the phone? the corrugated sides actually act as heat sink to cool, best to avoid getting a case which covers the sides completely

The phone is wonderfull...so very good pics n videos....but we have a problem.....doing videos and pictures simultaneous produce warm in the phone... also watching videos on youtube produce warming/ get hot with the use.
THIS NOT GOOD....AFTER ONE MONTH STARTING GET HOT....BRAND NEW....MAYBE MY MOBILE HAS PROBLEM...I DO NOT KNOW....

Just wondering, I am considering getting a xperia pro i as it's currently not as expensive in my country, does this phone often over heat? If yes, what conditions? Do you use a case (apparently make it more likely to overheating as the sides distribute the heat better) or is only just filming over 10 mins in 4k at 120fps? How about normal phone usage, YouTube or regular camera? Thanks

It is designed for photography professionals and enthusiasts, you can get the almost identically specked Sony Xperia 1 III for much cheaper. That said having had Sony phones since they merged with Ericson this is by far the best built handset I've owned. It's also available online in UK for £900.
