Saroja, 24 Nov 2018i have a problem can anyone solve i have been using sony xp... morePlease make sure that both the versions are up to date. If those are already updated, then uninstall all the updates and delete the data from the apps and reinstall from the Play Store.

i have a problem can anyone solve i have been using sony xperia r1 dual for 1 month. Chrome and youtube doesnot open for mobile internet and they open for wifi. Dont know what is the problem? can any one help me

The experience with the Spiro was really abysmal. I lost my trust for both Sony and Ericsson after releasing such a phone! I also had the constant "Out of Memory" errors.

So I'd be surprised to see an Indian using a Sony phone, especially if they used to own the Sony Ericsson Spiro back in the day.

Have been using the R1(2 gb-16 gb) version for a month now. Purchased through Paytm and the effective price was approximately 8.4k inr. So, it was a deal for me.
I have found the phone to be bang for the buck. Music quality is brilliant, still photography is good, video is average. Display and performance is good for its price but the battery is just about average. I am not a heavy gamer but I guess playing regular games won't be a problem. One can't expect everything in a phone which is the lowest priced model of a company.
I have installed the following free apps and trust me they are good - Musicolet(maybe even better than Walkman - no ads), Quick pic(almost similar to Album - no ads) and Snapseed(as a photo editor).
I am not too fond of those advertisings which try to sell a Smartphone by highlighting the camera. Camera should only be a component like display, design, sound etc. Coming to design, I like to see the appreciative looks of fellow users using 15-20k phones! 😀

Sony Xperia R1
(1) Amezon will not give a reciept for this phone except a smoke of letters that can not be scanned in a computer
(2) No slide show. You can see only one phpoto of your sweet memories. No Album of Sony so I deleted all my photos of my favourite
(2) You can not enjoy the music of your choice continuously as the music player can not be plyed in the list continuously and therefore I delit all the songs
(3) What you can enjoy? nothing . Now I am using only as a phone for phone call
Other use?
You can pay for Google. The will supply all paying for each and every thing.movies musics etc
Why Sony you started Cheating Indians by releasing such a model
Why Amezon you are not giving a legible bill for your customer?
Why Google insist payment for day to day enjoiment of pictures, music and videos?

For music player there is no native music player like previous Sony phone as R1 plus having stock android version and again you have to install suitable app to get desired sound effect. I am using Free Music and Pi Music app, they are giving deep bass experience especially a good bass effected headphone. You can try. Same for album you have to install from store. Display is not TFT. Good side : Good battery backup, fast charging, phone no heating at all.

Mobile looks unique & video clarity is good., build quality is good & speakers sound awesome & era phones sound huge bass & battery charges quickly. Camera quality is good & i will give it 4.8 out of 5...Thankyou

I think there might be some serious issues with OS in your phone. They will do this free of cost. Hope this will fix your problem. Update me if you have any problem after this. Thanks
