just bought it and final verdict
build quality is awesome
perfprmance is superb
both cameras are out standing
connectivity is superb
only disapointing thing is battery backup only few hours
its standby backup is also low
overall best mobile and its my first android smart phone and i had amazing experince with it love sony

Photo taken by this mobile camera (12 MP) has lot of image noise. Else this mobile is good.

hey any one tell for this mobile which call recorder will support. i tried lots of call recorder all the program is says other party voice is not support. please give any solution for this.

Sanam, 28 Jan 2013can anyone tell me about the response of 3 capacitive butto... moreI have Xperia S, the capacitive buttons works really great once you figured out their location ( they are a little bit above the dots).
I have the phone for almost a year now with no provblems at all.

Sanam, 28 Jan 2013can anyone tell me about the response of 3 capacitive butto... moreThe response is really great. The dots are on the touch screen so there are no "real" buttons. You just have to get used to it.

i just bought an xperia s, its a good phone but on second thoughts go for a phone with a larger screen. Galaxy Grand or LG Optimus

I purchased it for 28k INR, evrythg is fime but 12 mp camera is pathetic. I was so much disappointed by its image quality specialy when sun is down and with artificial lights.
I am afraid of using Flash bcoz of red eye i get in almost 90% of pictures even after selecting red eye flash setting.
Highly disappointed by camera.

[deleted post]Mr P@PF a.k.a real news1, your alomst in all xperia threads trying to spread your agenda. My old neo V is running properly in ICS, and just recieved update last month. Sony did not forget the sony-ericsson phones because the are still giving updates. And im very sure camera of Neo V can beat most mid range phones. It offers more that its price range, so please stop the annoyance.
