can I upgrade my xperia s os to jelly bean and I want to know what is the last upgrade of xperia s.the specification tells 4.0 but I want know exactly.

AnonD-59173, 21 Nov 2012Is it true has the manufacturing of xperia s has stopped D... moreIt's probably true, I noticed recently the XSL has become slightly cheaper than the XS, XSL is the slightly upgraded version of XS so naturally should be slightly more expensive but it's now the other way around and this could be attributed to limited availability of stocks because Sony had stopped production of XS. As XS stocks becomes harder to come by then the price difference between these two units could increase.

[deleted post]Im from India. I went to a few stores and they only had white color while I was looking for black and not getting any new stock. When I asked my friend who owns a exclusive Sony Electronics and Mobiles showroom in Delhi he said they are not receiving any new stock of Xperia S coz Sony plans to replace S with SL in the market which makes sense as ppl r not buying SL over S by paying extra 2-3k INR. I don't see any problem in buying Xperia S as Sony will surely continue to support this phone infact a JB update is expected in Q1 2013.

Sony is discontinuing production of Xperia S and the only model they will be keeping in the market is Xperia SL. Infact frm wat i hav heard they have already stopped Xperia S production.

I am really ... moreI can only say but the Xperia S, It has allot of great things to offer i have the phone myself and the screen is just Awesome. And second the processor is really fast! and they say the battery is bad? it comes with OTA(on the air) ICS 4.0.4 update then you battery can easy get through a day of hard use! hope this reply helped you feel free to ask more :)

andi, 20 Nov 2012What's your OS now, is it Gingerbread or Ice Cream Sandwich... morei am using ICS on the phone. pc companion cannot even recognize the phone for me to reinstall ICS. it turns on, displays the sony logo, then the xperia logo then shutdowns and it restarts again in that order.

If you are still using Gingerbread update to Ice Cream Sanwich (ICS) and perhaps you will get the latest firmware xxx.50. If your OS is already ICS, just re-install ICS and hopefully it will fix the problem. I am just wondering why you are still experiencing this problem because this issue has been solved long time ago through firmware updates as Sony releases so many firmware updates already since Sony Xperia S was released.
